Hey Angie… Although I love your sit down talks, I really do enjoy seeing you in action doing your thing with the kids, gardens, animals, cooking etc.! You are such a motivation to all of us!
Hey Angie! I don't know if you'll see this comment, but I just wanted to thank you for your realness and the encouragement that you offer. I'm a fairly young mom and your attitude towards motherhood and insight on how you value the opinions of others has been very helpful to me. Love your family! God bless!
If I arrive at someone’s perfect house I instantly feel on edge in case my kids mess it all up. Your guests will feel so much more comfortable and relaxed if your home feels real and lived in. 😘
When you mentioned Lottie being able to go out again, I laughed so hard haha after all of yours and CR's effort she still outwitted everyone. Thanks for making my day 😊
Ange! The upper garden looks amazing! To think it was grass not that long ago and now the wild animals are coming for lunch! You worked so hard on staring that garden, you must be so thrilled with the produce! Cucumbers 🥒 look amazing! Yum
I needed this today. We are having family over tomorrow for a birthday party and I was stressing about the house, but I know I need to cool it and just do what is doable and let go of the rest 🤣
AMEN Angie!!!! I used to do that ALL the time and it made my family miserable. Especially when someone was seeing our house for the first time. Over the years I have mellowed immensely but my kids are grown now and it isn’t an issue. So hard to realize that. Good for you to stop yourself and take a step back
Loved the real trepidations that we all have about introducing our homegrown selves to new visitors! Thank you for giving us a glimpse of the kids and sharing a little of their sense of humor! You have it more together than not, Angie! Thank you!💗
A DELIGHTFUL vlog, Angela! I enjoyed it so much. Laughed out loud at the sight of Aslan sleeping on the couch and was happy to see the adorable Charlotte. Everything in your vlog made me feel happy and relaxed. Thank you! And I couldn't agree more, our friends won't judge us if we "fail" to make everything perfect. I've been there myself. Rushing around like a crazy person, hissing and shouting at family members who were in my way or were not quick enough to execute my orders...
I respect you so much for not plastering your kids' medical info all over the internet. With so many vloggers, the second there is the slightest medical issue it is the title/thumbnail everything since they know it will get them views. I hope that whatever one of your kids has been going through can be resolved soon to remove that stress from you all. You keep it so real while still protecting your kids so thank you!
I always remind friends when we are coming to visit....we are coming to visit you not your house...and we are very used to messes please don't clean up for us.🥰
Hi Angie, I'm never on youtube except for Edu vids and perusing curriculum, but I found you like 2 weeks ago and love your stuff! And suddenly watched like 30 of your videos, oops! I'm also a homeschool mama teaching 4 right now and you are such a healthy reminder of how to mix school and real life. I love your wide, fun command of language and how real you are. Commenting on this video because it was especially comforting to see you without makeup and sweaty, reminding yourself in the moment of what not to stress about. God bless you and your beautiful brood! Love from Toronto.
I just want to say that I love the space that you have created on your channel. With all the chaos in the world right now I deeply appreciate your humble content. It’s nice to step away from the stress and worry into a place where the biggest issue is a chicken getting out of the coup. Thank you so much
Hi Angie, always a pleasure catching up with you, CR, the kids and animals. Everything looks lovely and welcoming... the new patio, the garden, all of it! Thanks for the wise advice about overdoing it when guests are coming.
First of all...I love the JJCAM!❤ Yes...give yourself grace. Your friends will just remember the fun they had with your family...but your place looks amazing. Take a moment to stop and think of all that you have done and accomplished since you purchased your farm. It really is amazing...and everything looks so beautiful. I hope whichever one of your babies that has not been feeling well ....is much better soon! I always look so forward to your vlogs. Finally Aslan ..is my spirit animal and I aspire to be Lottie🤣😂🤣
I totally relate on the cleaning like a crazy woman before guests visit...I'm usually in physical pain by the time they arrive. Oh Lottie that funny goat...my goats escape their pen too, but its because my horses like to let them out we are chaining their door now
I have family coming over today & I was fully prepared to start cleaning like a maniac… so thank you for reminding me to give myself grace. Honestly, our house already looks fine.
The patio looks amazing! Yaya for visitors, and you're absolutely right about the want to get everything looking just right, thank you for the reminder to just do what you can and enjoy the people! Charlotte is sooo cute!
I totally relate with the clean like crazy before people come. The fellowship is what is important. Remember you only see 10 minutes of You-tubers life. Yours and theirs🤠❤️
Do moss between flagstones! We used to have moss between our pavers. It was nice because it was a natural weed barrier. Unfortunately my husband power washed it all away and now we have weeds. lol
Hi Angie, so I just purchased my first home and OH BOY does she need need some TLC. When I feel overwhelmed I tend to freeze. Your videos are encouraging me to just start those dang projects!! THANK U
Love the fact that you are telling yourself that. Took me a long time to learn that. I always tell myself friends are coming to see me and not judge my house. If it was me...I would make a sidewalk out of the same brick stamp as the patio
I come from a house of women who will paint the bathroom before guests come for dinner. I’m 67 years old and can’t let it go! Good for you for keeping it real.
Oh yes, the stressing over getting the house perfect for guests and then being too tired to enjoy the visit is real and familiar... Us women must learn to let go and free ourselves, we are good enough, we are just FINE! Have fun, be well!!!
I think Lottie is super intelligent. Maybe your older girls could teach her things that could produce income for the farm or maybe some kind of "acting" possibities. Idk really, but it seems she was meant for more than being "just a goat" 🤗
What a great reminder about making yourself and everyone crazy when company comes. I’ve started using paper plates to ease the stress and that was a huge step for me (food and presentation has always been important to me). It’s hard to focus on the big picture sometimes! Having two kids now helps me prioritize, oddly enough!
I agree, that I'm that mom who has to get it all done before anyone comes over. I've learned and has practiced since a few years now, to do the most important things that would be seen and leave the rest till another time, if I couldn't get them done days before. Nice encouragements. You clean up real well and looking beautiful.☺ *The chicks are very unique looking. Your son is so adorable.☺☺
I'm so used to your hilarious Angie vernacular that my brain has begun to auto-finish some of your phrases. I just knew you were going to say "so dilly dang hot outside".
Hi Angie! I love seeing your kids adorable they are and your garden is nice the flowers are beautiful thanks for sharing this video loved it! God bless y’all!💜
Have you thought about mulch glue for the walkway stones??? You can put it over and it SHOULD help keep those little pebbles down in between the stones of the walkway.
I just love all the mature trees around your place! You are making this place your own it’s looking good! No need for perfection there will always be projects it’s just the way it is! Hihi
It's just me and my spouse at my house and I still overdo it when I know people are coming over. Even our best of friends or my mom who, geninuely, would not care if my house was covered in dust and there was cat hair all over. But I still spend the entire time they are visiting making sure there's no messes made and it looks tidy. It's such a habit I'm trying to break! Just trying to make sure it's clean but not stress for hours beforehand for no reason.
There is a fertilizer that we used a few years back that will definitely keep the deer away. I’m in south Ga where we have under in our yard any any given time. We just outlined our small garden with it. I dk the name but I’m sure if you go to a garden store they will tell you. It really worked. If I can find the name I will let you know.
Your so right Angela regarding running around to make sure everything is tip top for family, friends to stay with us. Why we do it to ourselves.🙄😯I'm certain they don't want us to be so absurdly shattered, by the time they arrive. So we don't appreciate the company only from being so tired. I just tell my husband. Please make sure the toilet is properly flushed when you go. I like to have a clean bathroom. Also making sure the room the guests stay in is clean and tidy before they come. Everything else isn't, should not be concerning. Your garden is looking magnificent. No wonder you look so slim and beautiful. It's all the work you do. You hardly sit down bless. The fresh air obviously agreed with you. So glad your sister is going to be moving nearer to you. My sister lives a few hundred miles away from me. It takes at least three hours if traffic not too bad. We see each other roughly every three to four months. I only have one sister. Since my mum died 18months ago we do our best to keep in touch. PS I have a black Labrador who is not too keen on our hot weather . He frightens the living day lights out of our post man. Although he is so docile. He honestly wouldn't hurt a fly. . God bless you all.🙏😍😍
It's so inspirational to see what you've done with the property and garden. I am looking forward to implementing plans at my place as soon as spring arrives! :)
Thanks for your update. That pebble gravel is called Pea Gravel. "....in adulting -land...." That whole bit had me laughing outloud! New chickens are meant to be snuck in during the night....then they all wake up together...chickens have bad memories, so if they wake up together, they must belong there.
I relate to this so much, my husband always loved “come on over” company and he had to adjust because of how much it would upset me. I am working on it!
It was fun to see your farm from totally different angle. Earlier I havent undertstand how your different places have been located. Looks so so beautiful and well planned.
Lottie! Well almost, she didn’t appear ☹️.Did you ever read Papillon? It’s based on a true story (by Henri Charrière). You can start documenting every single improvement you made to keep her in and the ways she find to free herself. There is good material for a novel or at least a children book. Hey!…She is giving you the plot.🤗
I noticed while you were plucking produce you had a towel on your neck. Have you considered buying a pack of the cooking towels that are on amazon? They come in a four pack and you cool them with water or freezer and they help keep you cool outside. 👍🏻
Hi Angie, when it’s super hot for the chickens try making ice cubes with veggies in it and stick it in a big bowl or a watering pan or something out for the chickens and the ducks. Omg Lottie!! This is freaking hilarious. I absolutely adore Charlotte!! I would totally babysit !! (But I don’t think I’d be good with many of your other animals. Dogs, perfect all the rest sorry) lol. Darn I want to hug Charlotte!
One thing its taken me 10 years to learn about introducing new chickens to your mature hens is to keep your teenagers right next to the old hens. So make a mini run next to Tina for 2 weeks give the teens their own food and water and some shade. Then Let them mingle a few hours a day after 2 weeks, and then you should be able to put them together with less feathers shed! 🪶 good luck!
I hope your child gets well soon. My daughter had sickness like that when she was little around three years old and it wound up being a parasite she had gotten from a public pool. Once treated for a parasite she got better quickly.

I agree, I missed this style!
Same!! I loved this Vlog so much
Yes!! I completely agree. I like to see her realistic life with kids running a farm
I personally would love to see MUCH more of the animals :)

i'm exactly like you described when guests are coming to visit. it's very stressful. i'm going to try to be more relaxed about this.
Hello how are you doing??
I have family coming over today & I was fully prepared to start cleaning like a maniac… so thank you for reminding me to give myself grace. Honestly, our house already looks fine.
Angie’s there is a glue spray that you can put on the rocks that make it look like it’s still just pebble rock but it isn’t able to be picked up
The JJ cam so fun! I liked seeing how much he likes the chickens! Too cute !
The patio looks amazing! Yaya for visitors, and you're absolutely right about the want to get everything looking just right, thank you for the reminder to just do what you can and enjoy the people! Charlotte is sooo cute!

Hi Angie, so I just purchased my first home and OH BOY does she need need some TLC. When I feel overwhelmed I tend to freeze. Your videos are encouraging me to just start those dang projects!! THANK U

A sassy chicken and that damn goat. I love ❤️ your videos. Thanks for sharing 😊🇨🇦.
Yes I absolutely do the same thing!! By the time they are here I’m already exhausted!
I think Lottie is super intelligent. Maybe your older girls could teach her things that could produce income for the farm or maybe some kind of "acting" possibities. Idk really, but it seems she was meant for more than being "just a goat" 🤗
That back patio is gorgeous!!
Between hubs and me( 9 kids, 8 grandkids).. my all time fav phrase is..." we're cleaning; so who's coming over"🤣
I love how honest you are 😌💛… I chuckled when i saw you with a towel wiping sweat… thats all summer lol
I can't even pick a favourite, I adore all of your vlog and your sense of humour and I rewatch them when I'm having a meh day.

I finally convinced the family to use nice paper plates for family gatherines. I do the dishes, so much easier. But its worth it.
Totally agree with you about how we , as women, overthink things before the guests arrive 😀. Lisa is great, I watch her videos
The cabin flowers are beautiful… good landscaping!!
God Bless Angie’s and have a Wonderful Day🙏🦋🌴. Got to love a good Palm Tree, Right🌴
Good advice! Thank you
I agree the pebble stones will end up everywhere. 😆
Your helpers are so handsome!!! And great chicken catchers too!
You and Lisa are my favorite TH-camrs! How fun, if possible please vlog! ❤️
You get a lot done in a short time! Hope that encourages you!

You're gorgeous a mother of 8 plus animals. It's just incredible your personality and your love of who you are is just amazing and very inspirational.
These vlogs are the best.

I like the flagstone with the moss between idea.
Angie, for your big dog, get him a fan. Each of our dogs have their own fans. It made a huge difference. Were in AZ
You're always so uplifting Angie!
Angie you glowing 😍

Angie: Amazon box
😂😂😂
I hate visitors because my mother was a nightmare when visitors were coming, everything had to be perfect. That really effected me in my marriage.
I relate to this so much, my husband always loved “come on over” company and he had to adjust because of how much it would upset me. I am working on it!
@@karoosten232 Good luck.

Love the new concrete pad
Hello how are you doing?
Your house and gardens look awesome Angie
SUCH a good idea for the patio pad! Fixes a muddy mess for sure!
That is a great improvement ,putting in that concrete stamped pad , keeps a lot of dirt out the house. You doing a great job Angie
Lottie! Well almost, she didn’t appear ☹️.Did you ever read Papillon? It’s based on a true story (by Henri Charrière).

TINA is the BEST🐓!!!!!! QUESTION what do you do to prevent slugs from eating your 🌱 plants?!?!?!
I agree with you, Angie, regarding the rocks for your walkway! You would be seeing little rocks everywhere & would eventually need to add more rocks!
Hello how are you doing?
Hi Angie, when it’s super hot for the chickens try making ice cubes with veggies in it and stick it in a big bowl or a watering pan or something out for the chickens and the ducks. It’ll help them cool down and they’ll get some veggies out of it :-) that’s what I did here in northern Minnesota on the very few days that it got butt-hot 🥵
PS loved #JJcam !! Future film maker 😊
WHY is YOU TUBE NOT ALERTING ME!! ?? Arrg. 2 weeks after? Come on, man!
Concrete looks gorgeous. My husband does that concrete- stopped using the powder color- uses newer products- but I love that!!!
Sending hugs prayers and kindness with lots of smiles. ❤️👍🏼🙏🏼🤗🦋🌹
Hey angie have you thought of clipping azlans underneath. I’m a dog groomer and I own a German shepherd and I shave her underneath completely off you can’t see it looking at her but helps keep her cool on hot days and we are in Scotland 🤣 so I can’t imagine how your big boy is feeling 🤣

I think Lottie possibly needs a hobby (maybe water color or acrylic painting or crochet?); perhaps she could enter some canine agility competitions?
Hey Ang! I always love watching your videos cuz you’re just so dang adorable!!! And a riot 🤣
Enjoy your weekend girl!
When you don't want to say hot as hell, then lottie makes you say that Damn goat...🤣🤣🤣🤣
“That damn Lottie got out again”….🤣🤣. She is smart and determined!!
Your CR impression has me deceased. 🤣🤣

Just make a concrete sidewalk. Weeds always come up around flagstones and pavers anyway. Just make it simple.
the sniff when commenting about the ribs had me LOL 😂 😂
