What a surreal feeling this was watching this. It was as if I got sent back 10 years ago... Moreover, it was as if I could imagine myself watching this type of plot and shenanigans back then 10 years ago and I'd imagine the voices and actions like this video in my head despite only seeing Windows Movie Maker text and what not.
I waited to watched this at the Middle of the night and now its 3:34A.M and I still love these guys who voiced Mario and Luigi❤ It’s a tradition I do everytime when I watched your channel Thanks for opening my demented childhood brain by making me tear up while laughing ❤
This is fabulous, and insane, and makes me feel like I have ADHD. Well done to all involved. Project bloat is always a pain, but I think you can really be proud of the result.
learned about this today thanks to somebody i follow on twitter. its fucking amazing. also i havent heard writing like this in a long time and its still funny. and the mix of simple & overly detailed animations is always a good bit that i have rarely seen. and at 9:02 i dont know what to call this. its like "smear frame" minus any smearing, but it looks real funny in motion.
Good eye on those penguin shots! Fun fact, the renders for that scene were given the name "pegWOOP" internally. lol Ironically, someone _just_ recently released a script for scaling bones by-axis in SFM. If _that_ existed back when I was working on these shots, I _probably_ would've gone the full blown smear frames route since that's _absolutely_ the look I wanted here. That being said, I'm still _super_ happy with how it turned out regardless. _Always_ tickles me. haha
