Mili is a "power house" singer. There are not many men who can sing 4 octaves above middle "C". He has been plagued with bad luck,,the 1000 lb sound tower falling on him,,his wife dying on their wedding night,,the horrific tour bus accident that took him 4 years to recover from,,and then another accident after that,,,but yet he crawls back each time and is still out there rocking,,,the dude is amazing!
The movie Rockstar from 2001. The band in the movie was Steel Dragon. Guitar work for the band was done by Zakk Wylde, drums by Jason Bonham and bass guitar by Jeff Pilson. The lead singers were Jeff Scott Soto (voicing Bobby Beers) and high pitched Miljenko Matijevic from hair / metal band Steelheart (voicing protagonist Chris "Izzy" Cole). SteelHeart’s first album reached #40 on the Billboard 200. When touring for their second album and performing in Denver, Colorado on Halloween night in 1992. While performing "Dancing in the Fire," from their "Tangled in Reins" album, Matijevic walked under an unsecured 1,000# lighting truss, which fell toward the stage. In an attempt to evade it, the truss landed on top of him, crushing him face first into the stage. Matijevic suffered a broken nose, cheekbone, jaw and a twisted spine. This screeched SteelHeart to a dead stop until Mili could recover which took several years.
When Milli had that monster accident that was the beginning of the end for any type of mega popularity also the fact that wasn't even two years later that grunge took over the scene.
We almost did that one, but I wasn't sure if there was an official video or what you wanted us to react too, I couldn't find a solid official video for it.
The sad part is they never got the fame they deserved here in the States. Mili's accident coincided about the same time with the explosion of Nirvana and Pearl Jam creating the 'grunge' trend for the next ten years. This song however was HUGE is southeast Asia. It was #1 for something like seventeen weeks in South Korea where Milijenko is still revered as almost a godlike icon.
Excellent! Mili is the best! “Can’t Stop Me Lovin’ You” is a great rocker by SteelHeart.
You guys keep doing you... Love watching your shows and had great fun the last live I made it to... Thank you...

Movie was Rockstar and it literally is loosely based on Tim the ripper Owens who took over Judas priest for a short while
There’s an entire first verse that they left off of this version for some reason.
