I made these for my family the other day and we all loved them! My daughter loved them so much she asked me to make them again the next night. When your 16 year old asks for more veggies.. you make them! Thanks for the amazing recipe. The foil makes all the difference.
Thank Renee, I've tried many different recipes, but yours was the best (even though I didn't have any bread crumbs). I added chopped fresh garlic and added garlic powder. Everything else I followed. I think covering the brussel sprouts initially made a big difference. Oh yeah, I didn't use aluminum foil as it's bad for the environment, I just used a shallow baking tray with its lid. They were perfect!
I have baked brussel sprouts for several years. I buy the small ones so I don't cut them in half. I do put olive oil on them , then I sprinkle them with Mc Cormicks Italian seasoning. Toss them, spread them out in my baking pan and top them with melted butter. No foil on top. You have given me some good ideas I will have to try out.

Oh yay!!!! Roasted Brussel Sprouts will be great with Easter dinner....and easy to cook in a large quantity too. Just make sure to lay them in a single even layer in your backing dish....don't stack them or they won't roast properly. Enjoy!

In her notes: Drizzle with Olive oil, season with salt and pepper, 1/8th cup each bread crumbs & Parmesan cheese (don't think she used all of it). Bake: 375 degree oven, cover with foil, then uncover and bake 4 to 5 more minutes to crisp the leaves.

I made them last week after seeing this vid. Omg, totally delicious! My 83 yr old mom loved them as they were chewable due to th the magic foil. They are VERY good and your video is so darned cute!
It's all in the method....sprouts cut side down on the baking sheet and cover in foil till fork tender. Then remove foil to crisp the leaves and bread crumbs. Enjoy!

I’m the weird kid whose favorite veggie growing up was Brussels sprouts. It didn’t start out that way, but my parents came up with a plan. They told us that sprouts contained nickels so you have to cut your Brussels sprout in half with your knife and fork on your plate to release them and so you don’t break a tooth. Every time one of us cut one open, my dad would flip a nickel onto the plate! It was magical and our mercenary little hearts couldn’t get enough! Thank goodness there were only two of us or Daddy wouldn’t have gotten a bite in for himself! 😂 And, yes, they were clean. My mother kept a stash of nickels she’d washed with dish soap and a veggie brush. Incredible, I know, but I think I was 10 or 11 before I gave it enough thought to realize we’d been had! By then, I was in love with them! Haha! I can’t wait to try your recipe - I often make them this way except for breadcrumbs, so I think I’ll try adding them!! Thanks, Renee!

The 2009 Inaugural luncheon had roasted Brussel spouts on the menu - and shared the recipe with the public so that was the first time I tried them that way. Never going back! The White House seasons theirs with orange zest (plus butter/olive oil/ S&P) but I'm going to like the parmesan/bread crumbs just as well, I'm sure.
Oh yum....it's my favorite way to cook Brussel Sprouts. Many people cook with with balsamic vinegar but I'm not a huge fan of that. Love with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese :)

Honestly, I just discovered brussel sprouts about 2 years ago. I always thought they were crispy stinky vegetables because my mother would boil them. The house would smell so bad!! I started seeing people roast them in various ways and they looked good so I gave then another try. LOVE THEM now! But they have to be cooked correctly.....no crispy sprouts! Hope you enjoy them too!

I soak my Brussel sprouts in orange juice then I drain the juice and air fry them with coconut oil and garlic. Then I sautee the juice with a little flour and add cashews and pine nuts. Love my Brussel sprouts 💜

I've roasted sprouts many times with pancetta and aged balsamic. That's delicious but I'm thinking I've been masking the actual sprout flavor. Your recipe will enhance flavor and let that sprout come thru. 😋 I am headed out for sprouts this weekend. Thanks for sharing. Update: Delicious, I tried your version. Didn't change a thing. My son hated brussel sprouts growing up. I always made him eat just one, always the smallest. But he’d wait til it was stone cold to eat it so it tasted horrible. I steamed mine at the time. As an adult he wouldn’t eat them, but he tried a roasted one and was hooked. He loves them roasted.

Renee, I Luv brussel sprouts! I usually put a Balsamic glaze on mine after roasting, but I'm going to try these, TY! I wanted to add, that the video was so clear, the lighting was perfect, and you looked gorgeous as always, you can tell you got a good tan in Mexico!

My son hated brussel sprouts growing up. I always made him eat just one, always the smallest. But he’d wait til it was stone cold to eat it so it tasted horrible. I steamed mine at the time. As an adult he wouldn’t eat them, but he tried a roasted one and was hooked. He loves them roasted.
