@@PoplarPonderosa I'm sure I will, In fact, I have already downloaded mapdata from terraining to make a map over Stockholm, but you beat me to it, so now I'll enjoy the heck out of your hard work. Great work on the bridge and the alternative backdrop. Love it.
@aslake3848 Keep in mind I took a lot of liberties with the land (and mirrored it as mentioned). If you need an image overlay, find me on discord and I can send it to you. It needs to be rotated but works for most of the area. Also, I think there is a stockholm map on PDX mods already.
LOL You actually spent the time with map tiles haha. I remember when game first came out and I realized one could do that- but the issue being non-tiled area cannot be locked. No way Id sit and make tiles for hours haha
Great map there Poplar! Just out of interest, did you pre-name the outside connections? And if so, how? Oh, and custom tiles... yup. Still don't know what the difference is between "regular" and "water" other than the border colour...
Thanks! I named all the outside connections with Klyte's Names and Addresses mod. There are a few other things I named. 🥚 I have never tried to use the "water tile". I don't know what it is.
There is no outside connection for electricity at the start. You can create an outside connection for electricity by using high voltage underground/underwater cables. You will need to buy two tiles near the bridge. Thanks for your feedback!
@ThaNoizy yes, select high voltage lines and connect to your transformer. Change the elevation of your wires to -10 and you will create underground cables. They can go underwater.
@@ThaNoizy oh, haha. Sorry. Yes. If you drag a water pipe to the edge of the map, you will export your surplus or import your deficit. There is a whole page in the budget menu about services that you can import/export.
Hi, this map is wonderful! Thank you so much! However, the lack of external connection for electricity makes it too challenging to make money in my opinion. I am struggling because of that.
Hi, thanks for compliments and feedback! I considered putting the external connection for electricity. I eventually decided not to because it's such a remote location. I guess I could have assumed there was a large hydroelectric dam somewhere beyond the boundary. I think you only have two purchase two tiles to reach the boundary and make an underground/underwater outside connections.

Thanks RaftermanNZ! This was definitely an interesting one to make. I had to get a little more creative than usual.

There is no way to export electricity on this map right?

@ alright, great! Is this viable to do with water aswell?

@@PoplarPonderosa oh I mean water export:)
