Same! The devs also seem very receptive to input if you have ideas. I requested trap doors for tops of flat roofs and they are going to look into it. I wouldn't expect Move It, Anarchy or Find It anytime soon though. 😅

Yes, it's a great feature! In the editor, select "Add Object" then search for "Map Tile". They work a lot like surfaces.

You've definitely done it justice! Even down to the street names, it's great. Like I commented on the trailer video you've done a great job on this map. I have one question for you. Do you happen to have a road overlay to match the map? I could try it myself but since you made the map and grabbed the specific location I was wondering if you had one. I was watching City Planner Plays' stream a few weeks ago and saw your comment about this map you were making. I got so excited that someone was making a map since I live in Victoria and have wanted to recreate my town in cities but never had a good enough map to build on. From your trailer it looks incredible! From the accurate shoreline to the road layout, and those interchanges! (As crazy as they are in real life) You aced them! Again I'm so excited to play on it since I haven't loaded cities in a few weeks. Thanks for making this map and spending the time to get the details right! Excellent job

Heya, I love the map but I get a Unity error whenever loading in, and the game crashes if I place a building. It does this even if i run it with no mods except this map. The error log says something about jobs - the game only crashes when I place a building that has jobs. I'm hoping to find a solution because I really, really like this map. Please let me know if you learn anything. Thank You.
Thanks for the feedback! I didn't experience this issue in my testing. Are you only experiencing the issue on this map? I'll look into it on my end.
@@PoplarPonderosa It may be my client, rather than your map. I'm still on 1.1.0f1, and this issue appears when I try another map that has come out recently, so it might be related to the game version.
@@sageillumini okay. I suggest verifying your game files. I asked around and all answers I have received suspect it is a game problem, not a map problem.

I will eventually add Metro and maybe trams. But the islands are pretty small and remote. Passenger or cargo rail wouldn't really make sense here. I love the assets and like building with them though. Maybe I could work something in and pretend it's a larger island and it makes sense?

Good idea! There are lots of small things like that which I noticed while editing. I'm pretty behind on my editing so it will be a while until I'm able to show that fix.

I like the bridges. I think they might look less weird if they eventually get upgraded with pavement etc. Love that piece of detail! Making sure water can run off and not flood everything :)

I love the buses. Nice choice. And I love those bridges over creeks, they bring character to the build making it unique.
Thanks! They will eventually upgrade their busses but I'll keep that one on a short historical route. I also like the bridges on the creeks. It felt wrong just building a road through them.
