This is the first time in my life that I've never lost to anyone in a Frontier battle (Never lost on the Silver and Gold print on Frontier Castle Valet Darach) I defeated all trainer in my path without losing & funny thing is I've never challenged them in HGSS until now I'm so glad right now!😊
I just got all the gold prints except for the battle factory, False Swipe Gamings competitive fundamentals has not only made me smarter, but also wiser.
I loved the strategic aspect of the Battle Castle, you had to try to juice up the opponents early on so you'd have a comfortable level of CP to manage tougher fights later. So much of the strategy of pokemon battles involves the pokemon themselves but this had a whole different layer of modifying your opponent's level, identifying team members ahead of time, managing team healing/item purchases, and generally was a very different experience from most of the luck-based Frontier facilities. Depending on your choices on how to spend your CP, it could be very easy or almost impossibly hard.
Not really? Battle Pyramid is in darkness on each floor, you can only find items randomly or with Pickup, the enemy encounters are both random and trainer. The only way they're similar is with conservation of CP/items, other than that they are two separate experiences.
Precisely why that was my favorite facility and I'm mad only the battle tower has returned in future games. Post game battles are so boring in Pokemon games after HGSS (outside the PWT in BW2). We need more facilities with different challenges outside regular standard battles.
My personal favorite is Dahlia for a few reasons. 1. I like her design and her upbeat attitude: example her animation when the battle starts as well as her vs image 2. I like the gimmick with her facility: seeing as I am a gamer I have to rely on luck quite a bit so having to hope and pray on luck for her entire facility is really cool
I just did this myself about an hour ago. I hope the frontier comes back. Battle factory was fun and sweeping through the hall with scizor was nice too.
12:13 Wow, I’m surprised Reflect made THAT much of a difference, it had more than halved the damage from Ice Fang before it wore off! Also, Gliscor’s Stone Edge missing saved you the battle. Though I have a feeling you wouldn’t‘ve uploaded the clip if you lost.
It was quite the missplay, Earthquake already showed to be well enough and it has a much better accuracy. And I think the reason the def increase was so important is because first the damage gets subtracted and then multiplied depending on weakness.
This seriously looks like fun! If only I wasn't so bad and got my team steamrolled by the elite 4 and had enough patience to grind out my pokemon I would have done this
It actually doesn’t take very long to train a viable team if you have everything available. Mostly EV training, if you have the dedicated items and Pokerus you can fully EV train a Pokémon in about an hour. Then you just have to get them to level 50 which doesn’t take long if you have a lucky egg. I raised a dragon dance tyranitar in about 3 hours, but like I said you need all the relevant items and the incredibly rare pokerus.
I've never managed to fight these versions of them because I never got the 20 wins nessesary for their first battles. I sometimes would, but I would always lose before 30 wins. I'm glad to finally know what teams they have :D
I don’t think they are hard but getting to them is the hard part. Gotta build a pretty decent team that works well together to get thru it all Some combination of Blissey, Garchomp, Starmie, Latios, Tyranitar etc could be a lot of good in these battles.
I miss these super challenging battles, I love the new gens but the battle tower for sword and shield just aren't the same considering you are allowed to spam legendaries. Even with a pretty basic team, you can manage pretty well compared to having to fight legendaries when you are restricted to not being to use any of your own.
You can still use legends like the Birds, Dogs, Lati Twins, The Psychic fairies etc but it still does take some skill to use them in these battles. Also soul dew is crap in these battles
Wow, you got so much luck in that Palmer battle. I’ve beaten that team 3 times and lost 3 times, getting that burn was key and that initial miss on your switch to Gyrados. I swear I’ve had so much bad luck in The battle tower. One battle I got missed a 95 accuracy move, then got paralysed from a secondary affect, then the next Pokémon got frozen, then my incredibly fast Starmie got out sped due to a quick claw. I swear sometimes the luck is just against you. Though to be fair I’ve had some good luck too, but when you’re at 47 win streak and things like that happen, or you get hit by a 30% accuracy OHKO move it’s painful. The worst thing though is after you loose having to grind through the first 14 battles, they are so boringly easy.
Super vidéo vraiment de belles victoires 👍🏻 , au passage tu filmes sur quoi (émulateur ou ds) et avec quoi pour avoir un rendu d’une aussi bonne qualité ?

Luck seems to be on your side for Palmer's battle with Regigigas to land a lot of Aqua Tails at first. Some have more luck with RNG I always got crited by Darach's Empoleon it always drove me nuts because I could never get a crit and as soon as I get close to defeating him *BAM* he gets a one shot crit on my last pokemon :(
@@bryanc1772so true, I lost to Palmer because my Metagross missed hammer arm 3 times in a row, and all I needed was 1 more hit then a bullet punch. I was so mad lol.
Honestly, it doesn't need another remake because this remake is perfectly fine. If it were to be remake, than it'll probably be another Let's Go sequel.

It is pretty good. I love how they mix Hoenn's Frontier brain in it as well.

Aqua tail missing 2 times just makes me think how much mixeli must rage doing these videos 😂
Nah you just question why he's not carrying waterfall on Gyarados.

I've had stone Edge miss 3 times out of 4 one time
I also prefer waterfall since it does have a chance to provide flinching on your enemy, but yeah Aqua tail does more damage than waterfall

The only one that took an excruciatingly long time for me to complete was the Battle Factory because of the rounds after Silver Print...
If you keep trading your Pokémon, you improve your odds for better Pokémon in future rounds.

Man, Gyarados did a great job in the first battle, it walled a powerful attack like Crush Grip, and it even took super-effective Stone Edge nicely!

Bro Bary had to tell his dad to chill with all his freaking legendarys
