It’s a great pack. I’ll be toting mine around for the next three days as part of my all day shore fishing rig. It’s finally time to wet a line in 2024, or as I call it, New Year’s Day 🤠
Thanks so much Wade for sharing, nice pack, I kind of like it. But I have many and don’t travel much anymore. I am curious as to what was in that possibles pouch, perhaps you have a video on past for that. I am really interested in what’s in yours. Cheers
Good question. I think both would last for decades if properly cared for. I own the FR Isle Royale Jr and would give a slight nod of “overbuild” quality to the FR. The HW is more comfortable though. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
I have started to leave my Casström Lars Fält knife in my pack, and wear my Helle Nord instead. My thinking is 1. if I get separated from my pack, the Nord is a better survival option, 2. it doesn't hurt to have a second knife, in case something happens to one of them, and 3. I keep the Casström shaving sharp for specific jobs, so using the Nord as a camp knife and wood processor helps with this. The Nord is wickedly sharp, too, but I use it constantly, for any task that comes up.
Ya a $250 23L pack is really expensive. I paid half for my urban assault mystery ranch and that’s even a little too high for knocking around the woods with.
@@leerolfe5332I’ve ordered many items from the UK. 3 items from TJM metalworks and knives from Rob Evans just to name a few. Duty and shipping charges were very high for me and added to the cost. It doesn’t mean the items themselves were overpriced. As far as duty charges go if you buy anything locally you need to pay the taxman, duty is just paying the taxman my friend. Cheers
@@Woodswalker1965 Bud. I'm ex British Army. I've been using packs like this on a professional and recreational level for over 40 years. I'll take any number of day packs including maybe a Karrimor sabre 45 etc at a 1/4 of the price over this but that's just my opinion. Fact still stands. That pack is way over priced.
Thank you Wade!! I am happy you are enjoying the Model 23 rucksack.
You bet, thanks for the visit👍
Looks like a great little pack for sure…👍🏻
It would definitely be good for a great grab and go for your truck…💯
Stay Strong my friend ‼️👍🏻
Perfect for that, you’re right👍!
Good looking pack. Nice that they have some colour options.
Loving it so far. Take care Kevin👊
Thanks for sharing. I've always found HW stuff to be well made and functional but leaves something to be desired when it comes to aesthetics
Ya a bit of function over form maybe, but you’re right well made and they get the job done. Cheers bud👍

Great video buddy nice pack

Good morning from the Great State of Texas. Is this bag considered a dry bag?
Good Morning Sir. Not a dry bag but very water resistant. Thanks for the question👍
How would you compare one of these VS the frost river packs? I am looking for a good pack that will last me a lifetime. Which one is better?

Just um case, I"d put the bushcraft knife in my belt. Very Nice backpack and video

Thank you!😀
Sorry have to thumb down. £250 for that is crazy. Total TH-cam ripoff mentality

Im not sure where you get 250 because this pack is actually $175 USD. You may be looking at the wrong pack. I’m quite happy with my purchase though.
@@Woodswalker1965 I'm UK bud. Tax and P&P. Total trash for that money
