85! God bless her! In 2009 I bought Mint rolls of those pennies from… (now don’t judge me), HSN. I still have them somewhere unopened. I can’t remember if it was the whole set or not, but again that was 15yrs ago. And I can’t remember where I put my keys 15mins ago. 😵💫🤣👍 Great video. Thank you.
You had a good hunt! I dont think I have even seen a cent like that with Abe on the back. Happy Birthday to your Mom and salute to that beautiful cat! Press on brother and keep stacking!
Well thank you a bunch. Keep your eye out for the 2009 Abe Lincoln memorial cents. 4 different designs. I think I'm going to try to add the cat in videos more often.
It's worth a bunch. Because just like there were a few 1944 steel coins, there are a few 1943 copper coins. If you can't pick it up with a magnet, it's copper, it's worth big dollars
No, that's not what I'm saying. But here is the law. You cannot legally melt US coins to sell for the commodity value, but you can deface coins to sell as an art. Like making rings or something. That's the law. Think of a silver quarter, today it's value is $4.15, you don't melt it. It's just worth $4.15... think of copper pennies the same way, today 2 of them is worth a nickel, but someday they will be worth a dime each, or maybe you'll sell them buy the pound. That's what a guy out west does now. For a living, tens of thousands of copper pennies every month.
Well, from one branch I have one ordered every week along with the half dollars, and then I go to several branch until I find another one. I'm going through 2 a week right now. I have 5 bank accounts with multiple branches each.

Wow, those 2009s were in great shape. It seems like anytime i find them, they've been put through the fire. Great box!
Thank you, yeah, those were quite nice for sure. And 13 wheat... Pretty happy with that box. I hope the one I get tomorrow is that good too
@@TwoshedsGabby you're welcome! Goodluck!!
Thank you, good luck in your searches
Great video! I wonder if copper pennies will ever be sold like 90 percent silver coins? Maybe?
It just depends on how far society falls.
In my opinion
Sheshh,that be awesome here😉🤙✌️

Anything special about the 2017 P penny?
Well.... I find them all the time. They are the first penny from Philadelphia that has the P mintmark
Nice hunt 👍👍❤️
Thank you. 👍👍
Did you ever see a 1943 steel penny? But it is brown. It is puzzling me what it could be worth. Please comment back thank you

Who could be rude to Twosheds?
Hahaha, thank you, thank you.
So, are you saving copper pennies to turn them in at a metal recycling place? I might be wrong, but isn't it illegal to deface coins?

1940 s that’s what you sent me,it was a pleasant surprise question how do you get so many boxes of pennies from the bank?

Copper pennies 3.11g
X10
31.1g
=1oz.
50 pennies = 5oz
160 pennies = 1lb.
About 150 pre 1982 pennies makes a pound
Good to know. Although 31.1g is a Troy Oz but doesn't apply to copper. It's used for gold and silver weight.
@@Arby1965 I didn't know that!
