You should have seen the 550 engine I did a couple of years ago. I had never seen so much corrosion between the cylinder base and the studs. I had to beat the ever loving hell out of them to get them off. Replaced the case and both cylinders because of that.
Thanks buddy I have a 1991 artic cat 440. And want to change the crank case oil yeah crank case I don’t know what kind how much ect could you please help pretty please ( I have the Cylinder off and currently replacing the piston and I used a suction pump to suck out the oil but all I got out was antifreeze from pulling the jug off please help
Probably a broken return spring. If it slowly goes back in if you wiggle it, than it is a dry or rusty spring. Just spray some WD40 or a penetrating oil in it.
good video! In my experience I've learned that a $30 investment in a book is a good idea. though now I have amassed a small collection of manuals I may or may not use again. 🤔 give and take I guess

My oil pump was broken around the seal surface EXACTLY like yours. Feel like they’ve got a wee weak spot.

What pick up coil do you have, because my engine does not have one and I'm not sure which one to get
What year is your machine? If it is not external like mine than is internal under the flywheel (rotor).
@@MOAB the year is 1995
Why don't you use them cool black rubber latex gloves like everyone else?
I try them once in a while. Hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
When I was replacing the brake fluid on my motorcycle….. a buddy of mine suggests using a turkey Baster. Well….. What a cool idea 💡
do you know what carbs it needs mines broken and i can’t find the carb online??
It was like a 34 or a 38mm mikuni. One was zr and one was ext. You can find the info online from those sizes
What was the puller bolt thread, 9/16 - 18
It was awhile ago, but I think you are right there.
My pull cable won't retract back inside, what do you or anyone think?

@@MOAB OK I'll try
