Traveled on many of them, my most memorable ones being from Lucknow to Gauhati, and later from Gauhati to Silchar. The Lucknow - Gauhati was called the Awadh - Tiruth Mail - a beautiful blue train, which changed from Broad Gauge to Meter Gauge at Gorakhpur perhaps (can't remember now - many many years ago). Beautiful scenes throughout northern Bihar, Bengal and Assam (and later Mizoram). Indian Railways have been a truly unifying force for all of India! Thanks for the memories!

Kid Oman,,,,amazing,,,,wow,,,25 times more than my country!!! and the speed of the trains,incredible,,,y saw some indian videos,,,and i im surprised,because the rails in some parts are with imperfections,,,but a lot of people use the trains,,and tha Alco smokey locomotives,,same as in muy country,,,,,thanks for the information!!!

I love this very beautiful video and often look at it. She is very original. We appreciate long two trains: the one rolling on the broad gauge and the smaller one rolling on the meter gauge. They have a lot of similarity. My preference goes to the smallest because the locomotives YDM 4 will soon disappear completely with the beautiful passenger cars Jessop brown. This meter gauge train is not really small: it has the same size of those I take every day to 7000 km from your home. I really like the Indian Railways and thank you for this unusual video
