hotdog vomit machine gun xD
He’d feel amazing after tho
Or a baby
I have always wondered whether competitive eaters vomited their food afterwards or not. Then I saw a hot dog eating championship and noticed they barely even chewed their food and realized it is physically impossible to vomit chunks of unchewed food. It would feel like throwing up rock and could tear your esophagus apart. I just don’t know how they are all alive and some of then even skinnier than most!!!😅
I've wondered that too...that CAN'T be good for them! One other thing I've wondered...
I've watched quite a few eating "challenge" videos, and most (if not all), get a small prize (small trophy, T-shirt, etc.) , their name and pic on a wall, and the food for free if completed. Ok, cool! Not a bad gig...travel the country and if you're good enough, eat for free! BUT...can you do it again? Is there a rule that says one can only complete a challenge one time? I mean...if a competitive eater can consistently put away 10lbs. of food and down the road is a steak house that has a 72oz. (6lbs.) steak challenge, could that person go like once a week to take on the challenge and eat for free once a week? There's got to be a rule against that. Or what about all-you-can-eat buffets??
@@chikkenbonz it's a one time thing
@@rebbedoes Kinda figured that was the case. Thanks robin.
@@chikkenbonz I'm sure it depends on the restaurant
As someone who has Gastroparesis and pukes often, it comes up like butter sometimes, our bodies are designed to break food down and have it pass very quickly so I'm not to sure about the whole hot dogs but I know chunks most of the time don't actually hurt, it just feels really gross 🤢
Matt Stonie is the GOAT !!!
Vagelis94 hey lost to Joey Chestnut last year tho
I think they are equal in terms of food challenges but matt stonie is far more popular because of his youtube videos
The way Joey eats is like half of the food is on the ground. Many times he won just because he dropped so much and he always put some potion into his mouth in the last second. IMO Matt is a better eater than Joey.
But he lost
Thats correct. A goat has 4 stomachs

Actually it looks like a condom
@@anonasquamosa772 it's not being stupid dumbass he is just putting a hot dog in a fucking balloon doesn't really explain much just competitive eaters ignore the nauseous reflexes and they can hold more food dumbass not 2:24 wasted
me would eat those hot dogs from his balloons
How does his stomach not rupture
Science me that
Because that stomach was a condom
The stomach has acid
Stomach has acids in it slowly breaking it down
Despite the fact that the stomach has acid and it slowly breaking the food down, your stomach won't rupture by forcing you to vomit eventually.
It is stretchy
I usually eat only small amount of food at time but went to eat restaurant and the lunch (plate of food) was huge, I literally felt heavines all the way In my lungs and heart. Maybe the stomach streched and caused pressure to other organs. It lasted only 30 minutes to one hour but it was very weird. Competive eaters eat 10 times more In one go, In long run it cannot be healthy.
They only train a few weeks a year.
@@drkrishnap here you are trying to justify what they consume

He said in normal ppl they usually get nauseous after 1 liter of food is in the stomach..competitive eaters train themselves to ignore this reflex and are able to hold 4 liters in their stomachs

Retro R: Overeaters Anonymous is good advice if you happen to relapse again, like most of us did. (Go the 12 steps soon, don't wait and waste more life time). In today's world of extreme bodily and soul stress from Microwaves (cell phones), it is hardly even possible to quit or get healthy or stress free. We must gather and get it stopped, it is slowly weakening down humanity without us realizing because it is invisible and not warned much.
@@Medietos I mean just stop eating. It's not "hardly even possible to quit".
@@kaspervestergaard2383 Do you know what addiction is? And it depends on individual situation and personality, severity and duration of the eating disorder. those able to just stop as you say, won't even have to come here.

What a sick phenomenon
I missed the science behind competitive eating.
I still don't know how they do it without suffering damage and whether or not they actually DO suffer any sort of damage.
You can't possibly be okay to just jam all that into you.
Of course they will suffer damage, even if they probably look healthy and fit now, they can't know the long-term effects of their actions.
I think you might be asking for a ruptured stomach if you don't throw up. Fighting the urge to retch is dangerous, surely.
pov: stomach acid
They throw it all up later
@@brassbear3373 I wonder what feels worse - jamming it all in or pushing it all out later.

I just ate 4 tacos and im full af. 😂😂
Well, i'll be damned 2 and im full.
1/2 and then i'm full lol
You know what's painful, the fact that they wasted 69 hotdogs:')
hotdogs are a waste of food with literally no nutritional benefit
Competitive eaters often undergo a common and straightforward procedure to remove their stomachs. By doing so, food can pass through the digestive system more easily without the stomach slowing it down. As a side effect, they must take daily supplements to compensate for the vitamins and minerals that the stomach would normally absorb from food.

You forget about how foods can lose it volume when it get chewing and meets water (saliva) . Hot dogs bread can lose many volume just only pressing it with your hand
How about a medical discussion on what massive amounts of sodium-filled foods in one sitting is doing to their bodies and kidney function? For example Stonie demonstrated a Cup-A-Noodle challenge with 15 packages with 1070 mg of sodium each-- that is 16,050 mg of sodium into the body at once. Competitive eating is a young sport and how sick will these competitors be in older years?
Oh god the short term effects alone make me want to hurl. I guess they must throw it all up after to prevent damage from ingredients like sodium and whatnot.
Humans are a strange species...
@@MattNeufy yeah, and meanwhile somewhere lots of people are dieing of starvation...
@@Vic47 you see and I hadn’t even considered that! So easy for these issues to be ‘out of sight - out of mind’ eh? Strange species....
No long ter damage accept a few new toilets
Societies have long consumed diet heavy in sodium as a preservative. It should be fine as long as you drink enough water. Also competitive eaters don’t eat like this every day.

Purging is a big thing in competitive eating, but is hidden ..like steroids and weightlifting :)
Train by repeatedly stretching the stomach and purging. Also, doing this say a day or so before a contest is also a technique used.
Sometimes its known as 'zen eating' :)
A great figure from competitive eating history to look into is Peter Dowdeswell (a natural at the game, with a super fast metabolism). His drinking records, at his peak form, were truly scary. He never even 'felt' drunk in his life (due to his fast metabolism). The only way to get tipsy for him (just for a minute) was to down a bottle or two of strong spirit.
His unofficial 'back room' bar records are a thing of legend too. ;-)
Probably can’t touch Andre the giant.
1:38 Nice 👍
YES!
Most sports: There to encourage good habits and getting the perfect body.
This sport: FREE FOOD.
Rather "waste of food", because it's impossible to digest his amountof food at once, or even properlydigest anything if your stomach is stuffed and stretched like that.
That 69 part is golden for meme
Someone random:He ate how many hot dogs?
Me: nice
What I'd really like to know is how these competition eaters get RID of 20 thousand calories worth of hotdogs. I mean it's safe to assume that the stomach cannot possibly break all this food down as it wouldn't have enough acid to do so. How do they digest all of this and does it come out as waste all at once? I can't imagine the stress this must cause the digestive system as a whole.
Puking
@@mattc825a lot of them don't. Matt stonie once said that he never intentionally vomits and a lot of the time he never even vomits. He just lays down for the entire day and go workout in the gym and everything is back to normal.
