Kiryu suits songs like this where you need a flat but rough voice while akiyama is needed for songs like pure love in kamurocho since that needs you to roll your notes better. That's why both kiryu and akiyama are great at bakamitai, the song suits both singing styles

This is the first time Im hearing haruka cheering and she sounds like a plush but at the same time cheering "OJI-SAN YAY!" melted my heart. Can't wait to play the rest of the series.
I think she cheers for Akiyama in the game, since her and Kiryu don't meet up until the end of the game.

It's his voice actor. All of the karaoke songs in Yakuza series are sung by their own character VA. Just wait until you see the karaoke in Ishin, it is even better.

It's honestly amazing how you can see the HUGE difference between Yakuza 5 and Yakuza 4. Really shows how much effort they put in each time while they constantly improve.

I think I know why I hate karaoke so much. Aside from my natural ineptitude at rhythm games, the button icons are hard to distinguish at a quick glance. They're mostly black with a small bit of color. The O and square buttons are particularly difficult since they use roughly similar colors. It would probably be better if the icons were entirely colored with the symbol's color.
I'm a keyboard-only who plays karaoke in 0 a lot, and let me tell you. Solid bright colors all over the buttons is a horrible idea.

Nah Y5 is better and not even close. Karaoke in y3 was the first time they added it so it had tons of rough edges. Also he had like one song he actually sings rest was interjections
