I don't intend on buying it anyway since now the only version available if I understood correctly after the controversy is the one where they removed Pierre Taki's voice acting and model from the game for a generic appearence and the voice of a guy who originally did generic grunt characters just because of a drug scandal (even though I know how harsh and strict the japanese and asians in general are with drugs, it's still unfair to deprive your audience of a stellar performance because of their ridiculous habit to smash the cancel button as soon as the slightest harmless controversy surrounds a celebrity). I don't feel like paying for a game with some purposefully half assed character, not even with a discount

I made the mistake of taking Haruka to karaoke in the premium adventure mode, having no idea what to expect. Between the sudden ramp up in difficulty, laughing at how intense Kiryu's yelling is and then laughing even harder at the sight of all the horrible shit Haruka went through being used as a music video, I had no chance. I'm still debating days later whether to give it another shot.

My favorite part is that the buttons are literally so close to each other that at one point if you hit both triangle commands with a "Great" timing, Kiryu will literally interrupt himself to cheer for Haruka while he cheers. Which means it is intentional. XD

The freaking dark souls of Yakuza Kiwami karaoke. This was the final thing I have to accomplish in the completion list. I just didn't fucking bother doing it before, because it was too damn hard, even on simple interjections. Man, the minigame's button timing really made it hard for me to accomplish this damn song. I love the fact that Kiryu says something at the beginning and no one has translated it. Edit: Came back to this a couple years later, and I'm currently playing through Yakuza 6. All I can say is, it's been a journey, but I miss this. It feels crazy to see how everything has changed.
