Haven't finished the hand yet but how is a 2 of Diamonds a brick when it completes a flush draw? Someone could easily have had a combo draw on that turn and just got there. I dunno, maybe something like T9s or Kx suited isn't gonna call the preflop bet which I think are the most likely hands that would have a combo draw on the turn but still. I'd definitely not consider it a brick and AA is basically a bluff catcher in that situation.
Anyway, on with the video. It's likely it doesn't even matter in the end, I just thought I'd mention my thoughts in "real time"
...okay, that was NOT how I expected that 2 to not be a brick. I was so busy thinking of flush, straight and like KQ, KJ, QJ that I never would've expected K2. I dunno if I'd expect K2s to be calling a $60 open, let alone K2o (not sure which it was)
Oh well. I was kinda right but not in the way that I expected at all.

Question for anyone who cares to answer. On the first hand AQ. The board pairs 5s, but rampage says he has the best hand possible, why? Are trips not a worry in that situation?
Yeah some of his train of thought had me kinda baffled. It's not like I was at the table though. So I don't know how anyone else was playing. Still interesting to watch and entertaining.

Rampage knows his fans want to see him torch money so he clearly had to remove all his big wins in the break even session.
Most always a nitwit involved in multi-way hands when A's are involved. K2 calls $60 preflop, and on K high board calls $160 with the crappiest kicker possible. What a genius,...and of course rivers a 2 to bust pocket A's. Anyone want to bet that's a LOSING player overall? The same sort of "ridiculous play rewarded" happened to me at Turning Stone Casino back around 2009, when they had a $5-10 game with a higher $5K max buy in. I had a $7k stack at the time, held QTos, and so I call a $30 preflop bet. Three players see a flop of QQK os, rainbow. One player bets out $150, one folds, and I RAISE to $2,000 because the bettor was known as a loose player who usually wants to gamble unless the call is TOO high.
My raise was a clear signal he was beat and that I HAD a Queen, UNLESS he had poc K's. The turn comes a T, and as I'm sitting on the 2nd best possible BOAT Q's full of T's, I shove the last $5K. He doesn't blink and CALLS with one card to come, and we flip over our cards.
Someone mentions the obvious I had top boat, and he has AK, just KKQQ with an Ace kicker. Yep, the river comes the case K (someone mentions they folded a weak K preflop), and he ends up Kings full of Q's. So he wins the pot of over $14,000 that day (about 1/2 my annual take-home salary at the time on my day job). I've seen him a few other days over the years, and have heard he hasn't done well overall. You just can't build a lasting career on dumb-ass calls!
You don't get a hand for 15 minutes and complain about "card death"??? I've gone for hours at a time without picking up playable hands, for multiple sessions!!

You pre-flop raise a lot of hands that really can't even beat king queen. I just don't understand why you do that. Or even raise with two suited cards . I believe that you'd save a lot of money just calling pre-flop unless you have a premium hand. I know that you've won a lot of money but why give it away like you did with that all in ace three call in that 25K buy in tournament. But then again you won the whole thing with your second 25K rebuy . Good luck and thanks for your posts almost every day.

Glad you're doing well and making money, but I was honestly surprised to see so many donk moves and plays. We all have our off days though. Where you feel like you can't do anything right and your timing is terrible. Cool to watch though. You never stop learning when it comes to poker.

Fun to watch you play. Your your own worst enemy. Your "folding is boring, or I am here to play hands" mindset doesn't work to well in these higher staked games. More patience is needed. Your too good of a player not to understand that.

The aces hand.. idk, you do block Ace-Ten and you have outs against virtually *everything*. Betting turn can't be bad for these reasons. Someone with 2 pair isn't loving your bet either and they hardly have any straights since again, you block em.
