If someone calls down to the river chasing a gut shot straight with 6 2 off, and another calls down a $5000 bet with AJ and nothing on the board, you know you don't want to be bluffing into these horrible players.

  • @ZenMadmanPoker

I think the large turn bet on Q43r8x (3:00) makes a lot of sense from the straddle. They should have all the 33/44/Q8s/Q4s, maybe even Q3xs, plus lots of strong draws that are happy to bet big and bink or barrel. Whereas after checking back, the preflop raiser has very few nutted hands but lots of marginal hands.

11:59 I don't think people pay off w Kc or Qc here for a big raise on the river. I think you just value-own yourself vs the 6c. 4-flush boards you can only raise very small with the nut Ace. Cause it's kinda easy to have it and then hard to find any bluffs either.
16:12 would you bet a 3 here on the river for value when he has so much Ax?. Weird spot, I think you should just check-fold on the Ace river cause you can't even rep anything anymore.

No they are not illegal if a rake is not taken. Dealers are allowed to be tipped because tipping is optional, not compulsory. Still trying to figure out what dude came up with when snapping off your 65o hand with opponent holding Th8h. Even though you're capable of bluffing there, he really ONLY beats a complete airball the whole way. No broadway draws, just crazy to decide that's where he piles money in. Weird hand in a vacuum. Maybe there was some info or reason in the few previous hands we didn't see that led him to go with his hand.

Actually on the hand where you hit the Ace high flush you had the 3rd best hand. 8/6 of Clubs is the nuts

he had 2nd best... if someone has 6 of clubs already, no one else can have 8-6 of clubs too

You were not 80% to win all 3 runouts as you were only 80 to win each one which means that your % to scoop goes down considerably the more times you run it out.

51.2% for all three boards. (0.8^3) and he ended up chopping, so sounds about right. I like it when probabilities work out in practice.

Karma too. He agreed to run it multiple times, and if he didn't, he would have lost. Although, most of the time it's better to run it once.

I'm amazed everytime I think oh rampage he's probably getting better at playing. I watch him punt off 4k with 56o on. A double paired board. Then I think oh nevermind 😅

It was actually good that the guy asked to run it three times against your queens. If you ran it once, you would of lost it all.

Do the pros advertise these meet up games so they can get the fish (aka their subscribers) in the game so they can crush them? Because they can’t beat their fellow pros? So they make the games easier with more rec players?
