This soft reset is the ONLY thing that fixed my Google Play error. Thanks! I don't know what I was going to do if I couldn't access my Receipt Hog App. LOL.

If I bought my NOTE4 in Canada and it was locked only for Rogers and I Unlocked it so now it works for every SIM card any company..
After I so the second option u showed on the video will it get locked again for just Rogers ?

Thank you soooo much! My screen got trashed so I was working mostly blind and I was able to count how many times I would need to push the volume down/power buttons for each screen and it worked perfectly!

ive gotten to the step when the android pops up, but under the android it shows "installing system update" it'll load up to a 100% then goes black. any suggestions.
dontrell johnson my phone used to do that so I had it off for the entire day then charged it and did what he just showed us in the video and it is like a brand new phone now ☺️

what's the difference between hard and soft reset
from a "normal" user point of view ... NONE, but if you find or ... "find" a phone then the second one will reset phone without having to unlock it ...

The hard reset worked for me. I had tried the soft reset before I watched this video but it kept going in circles. After I pressed delete all it kept asking me for a new password, and even though I entered it, it wouldn't go any further.
What could be the problem if this does not work? My phone does not switch on at all

I do the exact same steps to hard reset.. But if I try to reboot the phone shows the Note 4/Android screen, then the T Mobile screen, after that it shows a loading bar and says it's installing apps.. After the loading bar reaches ~a quarter it stops and reboots again, shows those screens again, starts installing again, and so on.. My phone repeats these steps for hours but nothing happens :( What could I do?

I have some advice for all of you here that have been through the technology hell I just experienced. DO NOT USE THE FINGERPRINT FEATURE! If it stops working for any reason and you forget your backup password. YOU. WILL. BE. SCREWED. Happened to me! I had to preform the hard Reset and so I lost all of my data. You will too if your use the fingerprint feature.
