I followed the instructions to the letter and my Note 4 is still rooted. I upgraded to 5.1.1 using another baseband through same model but when I turned it on and thumbed through my apps, SuperSU and AdAway and everything else that needs root is still there. Installing the sprint firmware removes the root and the recovery that I have installed? 1 year ago follow your steps to make it root by changing the kernel

After recent update from ATT for some reason my Note 4 is all messed up keeps restarting , sometime shuts off and to turn it on I have to remove battery out and in again .. happens same in safe mode. My note 4 after turned off will only restart after putting it in the freezer for 10 minutes. Will not fire up with volume down, home, on or whatever. Can I still fix it? Have to run wake lock. But if it loses power it"s into the freezer or it won't start or charge.
