Good idea for baking. I travelled 11 countries with 2 rice cookers Morning bread and breakfast, lunch pizza or burger, made for dinner alone.in rice cooker.
Sambhar, rasam, poriyal, variety rice, pingal as soon as I return back room. I break Dal and keep so it cook quickly.

Super demonstration!! But two things i want to comment, 1. please never use refined oil. 2. Use two cups of water to one cup of rice.(no need to use gas cooker again to get rid of excess water if you add 2 to 1..water to rice). That's all. Good to know all the usages of a humble rice cooker !! I learned a lot.
