The Dhruv MK 1 is flying here in mauritius by our police force register mph 07 n no big problem just one fuel pump prob n one engine damage that does not mean HAL is not good its just a first product of India n we got the engine n other parts with HAL n our baby dhruv is flying high n did many rescue operation n am happy HAL did not stop due to negative comments from ecuador but there is new upgrade version of the dhruv MK III n am eager to see it flying in mauritius its our 2nd order from HAL India 😎🇮🇳🇲🇺🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁and i request other countries to trust India HAL n its new baby dhruv MK III
All mk1 and mk2 must be replaced by mk3's (although mk2 still has whole glass cockpit display but still engines of mk3 are better) and mk4 is already a light hitter like lch so its already going into iaf,ia and possibly in navy as well
This Copter requires increased maintenance as suggested in most of the crash investigation reports. I would not term this as an issue as most machines do have their own genetic code for their existence. With the grounding and cancellation of contracts of Dhruv's by the Ecuadorian government and the grounding of 40 Dhruv's by the Indian Armed forces, things are not look as bright as it should for HAL. Most of the reports state a poor maintenance record of the machine and subsequent crashes are related to these deficiencies. Also glaring is the fact that the pilots are less trained and there seems to be a need for HAL to set up a standard operating procedure mandating the supplying of simulators and ground support for an extended period in order to win foreign contracts. While the machine may be capable, frequent crashes are not a good sign. Bad news spreads and the media is a TRP based entity, hence the world can get the wrong impression. The two Dhruv crashes that claimed to be mechanical faults were notably after HAL's ground support had expired. Overall there have been more than 8 crashes and several forced landings of the Dhruv. At this point, all of it cannot be overlooked and so HAL needs to buckle up and respond adequately. Subjectivity prevails as mechanical faults or pilot error cannot immediately lead to a crash and death of pilots.
These people sucks in making defence related marketing videos. Should suggest to watch some of the top defence OEM's marketing video. Never share these videos with anyone and say this our marketing video :(
Zero Cool Even engine is a hybrid of shakti and Turbomecca. Still, am happy HAL did it. I believe HAL/DRDO needs good direction and management like ISRO.
By October 2015, a total of four Ecuadorian Dhruvs had crashed reportedly due to mechanical equipment and Ecuador grounded the type.[87] In October 2015 Ecuador cancelled the contract and withdrew the surviving helicopters from service, non-delivery of parts and high accident rate were cited.[88] In 2016, the Ecuadorian Minister of Defence Ricardo Patiño announced that the remainder of the HAL Dhruv helicopters of the Ecuadorian Air Force, which are stored at the Guayaquil Air Base are for sale and that the Air Force is looking for potential buyers. make in India LOL
3 of them was 100% pilot mistake 1 was due to weathering and extremly poor maintainance India has 100+ of them not a single crash Atleast we are trying to make it in india unlike other who neither make nor purchase only beg like beggers 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We can't able to sell these to any foreign customer be it government or civilian tell the overly bragged features of this aircraft.. be its speed or its km/l fuel rating or its cost everything lag behind foreign contemporary helicopters HAL can't succed with indian government orders only it must become like embraer or bombardier of east
Looks like a really boring machine, and a particularly bad publicity video. They spent millions of dollars developing this helicopter but couldnt spend a little bit more for a decent corporate video?
Tyh Tre Does not necessarily amounts to HAl's fault. I served the coast guard in the Bay of Bengal area and we never had one incident with Dhruva. I will give you this , Dhruva demands relatively higher maintenance than its peers in the same class and if are careless about this then definitely the machine will fail you. Pros and cons come with every piece of equipment you buy . High maintenance is one of the cons of Dhruva thats all.
dhruv isnt an indian indigenous built helicopter its a copy of the MBB/Kawasaki BK 117, indians are try but can,t get there . and so is the HAL Light Combat aircraft a copy of the Mirage
Salute To Indian High Technology.

Salutes to HAL
background music is belly dance inspired music hahahahhahah :-)
7/11 needs to buy a few and install grape slurpy dispensers.
Jai Hind
It is a utility helicopter and a very good step towards self reliance. Looks wont matter much as long as its performance is not compromised.
mind blowing
they should of named it the 9000, that way it would be HAL 9000
V good step they should export them and first of all increase the production as of now it is 7/year too less
I thing India should concrete on developing their own turbine and avionic rest is easy to make.
iiiiiiiiiii
India need more and more better indigenous production like these and also need to be exported too
awesome..

HAL can upgrade mk1, mk2 to mk3 varient

I think hal rudra is better..
🤦🏻♂️ rudra is dhruv mk3 with weapon systems integrated
Looks like a really boring machine, and a particularly bad publicity video. They spent millions of dollars developing this helicopter but couldnt spend a little bit more for a decent corporate video?
4 out of 7 of these helicopters bought by the Ecuadorian Air Force have crashed

Well if you don't know how to fly and maintain these things will happen.
*HAL Helicopters are junk! HAL is pathetic....this is the truth **th-cam.com/video/FK4um7fACqg/w-d-xo.html*

Ninamun gaandu
First story wasbell, and now kawasaki .now you guys are gonna say its an ufo copy from mars
hahaha
Trash Product, 4 from 7 crash in equador
WE HAVE HUNDREDS OF THEM .... NOT A SINGLE HELICOPTER HAS CRASHED IN INDIA ......
. IF YOU CANT MAINTAIN HELICOPTER ITS BOUND TO CRASH ..
2 crash were fully pilot error..1 was due to poor maintainance of fin rotar blade. remaining 1 is under investigation
dont complain if u cant fly a machine we have more then 100 not a single accident till now
thats why u need to have better trained pilots. Helicopters can be landed even with engine off. th-cam.com/video/pL1-QH7eQAY/w-d-xo.html
