This Week in MXA, episode 177, presented by O'Neal, highlights last weekend's "Saturday at the Glen" motocross race at Glen Helen where the retired Blake Baggett showed up to race for the first time since the Thunder Valley National in 2020. Josh spoke with Blake after the race and he also took the new GasGas Electric Mountain Bike for a spin and he highlights the 2024 Denver Supercross.

Blake Baggett is proof that Motocross is 90% mental and 10% physical. Facts!
I'm extremely impressed that Blake can jump on a stock / not setup bike and go to a race at Glen Hellen, with no training or prep, get two holeshots and hang with Josh, who rides all the time. Blake is one of my favorite all-time racers and it would be so rad to see him come back... imagine what he could do with prep and a factory team?!!!!!

The fact only that he can not ride for 4 years and show up and do a 20 min moto on a 450 is literally insane. And racing! Pushing the whole time. Thats insane. Maybe muscle memory is at play here

What part are you upset about? Him giving a recap of his race against Baggett? The fact that he mentioned he's been racing a lot lately? It seems like Blake didn't have a whole lot to say so he explains what happened and is basically promoting how fast Blake was for having not ridden. He's just promoting the events that he's been participating in and sharing his experiences. I'm pretty sure his exact role at MXA is to create content that offers his opinion on bikes, parts, race events, etc.
So I take it Blake hasn't been sitting on the couch doing bong rips eating junk food these last 4 years.

@@Efemedio1 100%, but I can totally understand wanting to just disappear. But that said, when you are a beloved public figure you do have some sort of duty to let your fans know lol. Either way, cool to see him back on a bike again
@GDUBMX totally agree 👍 with you my fellow mx brother! I really admire Blake. And, I totally get his legal situation. But, I wish he just would of made a little statement! But, he is back riding and racing! Husky outdoors 2025????
