Hi everyone, For anyone asking, here are the ingredients for the crispy onion rings: 2 Onions 1 cup or ~130g all purpose flour 1/4 cup or ~30g cornstarch 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon of pepper 1 cup or ~2.5dl sparkling water 3 cups or 400g bread crumbs or panko I have made a mistake in the video by saying tablespoon instead of teaspoon for some ingredients. The recipe above is correct. Enjoy and have a great day!
They are perfection, those onion rings!! I think I am going to have a go myself at making them, as shop bought onion rings are never good. Yours look absolutely delicious, you are making me hungry!! (in a nice way). 😊
I made these last night and they were great. Would anyone know how almond flour would fit with this recipe? Like would it work the same or have a different effect
Looks great. But I would not add much salt. Just a tiny pinch. Because you will salt the onion rings right after they’ve cooked. Adding garlic (just a little bit) sounds interesting and I bet it might add an additional depth of flavor. I would also add some depth of flavor. I love how you put together the batter! Definitely going to check this out! Thanks!
Hi, I usually do not have this problem. If you tend to have this issue, then I recommend you just don't use the first layer. Enjoy and have a good one! Cheers
@@lunyo27 umm chop onions tomato and some green chilly add some salt, red chilli powder, garam masla then mix them well then add some gram flour and water then mix but a medium paste then on your stove and put pan on it and butter too ..... put your ring onions and put some paste inside onions then cook them well for 2 mins per side.... serve them with green chatni or tomato ketchup ☺️ and some Indian tea too that's great 😁😁😁

What oil do you use to try them in? (And where did you get those great tongs?) Now I need to try making these. :)
Hi! I have used sunflower oil. The tongs are from Ikea i believe. Enjoy it! Cheers
Peanut oil is really good for frying. It has a great high smoke point .

This looks like a good recipe, but I have one problem with it. I never use the first layer of an onion. It tends fto be tough, chewy and bitter.

Peux tu mettre la liste des ingrédients en français et mettre la traduction en français et en sous titre pour la manière de cuisiner ?😀🇨🇵👍
