Cool solution. My front diff went out with normal driving a year ago (I blame the diff drop I had installed 11 months prior but who knows). Was able to limp it home 3 miles but really wished there was a way to easily put it in two wheel only.
Sorry if this is a dumb question. What retains the cv “stub” in the differential after you cut the shaft out? The hub side is retained with the c clip but pressure keeps the diff side in. Thanks for the knowledge!
There’s a snap ring on the inboard shaft of the axle that clips into the diff. Technically we’re supposed to replace them every time the axle is removed from the diff
Hey man where did you get the Lexus Dash cover at? Looks super sick.
Hey! It actually came with the truck when I bought it. I believe Lexus sells them

You can buy a part-time kit from Cruiser Outfitters if you want to get manual hubs 🤷🏻
Have you installed the new locker yet? What locker are you going with? I have heard the the locker fixes the weakness in the front diff.
It certainly does fix the weakness of the diff. I bought an Eaton e-locker and installed it myself. We’ll see how it holds up
I haven't seen the 115v converter before. Is that factory or an add on you did?
I added it and used the switch from a GX460
@@cruiserpatch are you using the stock 100 watt inverter or something else?

@@cruiserpatch ah. I gotcha. Thanks for the reply! Gonna do this so I can put a front locker in and keep driving the truck
