Right now I'm struggling with addiction I'ma make a promise to myself that I stop so I can full be embraced into god ima pray I'ma forgive others I'ma do gods will I'ma get a Bible I will get baptized I will change amen (I am slowly coming to a stop thank you)
I recommend an app called bible 🙏✝️❤️
Look up God's promises. He is faithful, and provided you walk with him and listen to him, you will see those promises fulfilled.
Read the Bible and pray before you even get out of bed, and dedicate the day to him, every day, and you will overcome.
If you fall off the wagon, don't worry, dust yourself off, and get right back on again. You can pick up with God where you left off.

God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
As much as you get closer to God, you need people who had overcome or are not struggling with the same addition.

I'm trying to get into exercise, healthy eating and bed on time and deleted Facebook to help break my addiction
O Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of Your precious blood and the intercession of the Holy Spirit, we humbly come before You, seeking Your help in conquering the chains of addiction that bind us. We acknowledge our weakness and our desperate need for Your divine grace and mercy.
Pour forth Your healing love upon us, dear Lord, and grant us the strength to resist the allure of addictive substances and behaviors. Remove from our hearts the desire and craving that lead us astray, replacing them with a deep longing for Your presence and the peace that only You can provide.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, ignite within us a renewed sense of self-control, discipline, and determination. Guide us along the path of recovery, providing us with the necessary support, resources, and community to overcome the challenges that lie ahead.
Grant us the wisdom to discern the underlying causes of our addictions and the courage to face and address them with honesty and humility. Help us to seek professional help and the guidance of spiritual mentors who can aid us on our journey of healing.
Lord Jesus, we offer You our weaknesses and vulnerabilities, trusting that You can transform our struggles into opportunities for growth and redemption. Grant us the grace to surrender our will to Your divine will, finding solace and strength in Your unfailing love and mercy.
We also pray for those who suffer from addiction, that they may find hope, support, and the realization of their inherent worth in Your saving grace. May Your healing touch extend to all who are affected by the devastating grip of addiction, bringing them freedom, restoration, and a renewed purpose in life.
We make this prayer through You, Jesus Christ, our Savior, and with the guidance and intercession of the Holy Spirit. May Your love and mercy be our guiding light as we journey towards the freedom from addiction that can only be found in You. Amen.

I was a smoker for 10years from 2012 to 2022, God delivered me, and I keep right company.

There's no addiction that is stronger than you, you only didn't know the right approach to bring it to an end. Focus on Jesus by studying His Word intensively and being around those who are not struggling with the same addition.

Im trying spiritual disciplines, bible reading, prayer etc and exercise, healthy diet,bed on time,deleted Facebook to help break my addiction

Is it wrong to read the Bible when you’re under the influence? I feel ashamed to turn to God even though I know i can and I should, I just can’t ever find myself to do it and when I do I feel like he is mad at me and He’s already taken this addiction from me. So why do I keep going back? When I should be going forward. I’m so tired and exhausted. I whole heartedly want God and to do the will of Him but by my actions, it shows otherwise. I’ve been struggling with this addiction for too long. I quit and then for some reason I start back again. I think I’ve surrendered myself fully to Him but I haven’t. I just want to know where to start? How do I fully let go and let God. He is the one who is ultimately in control. How do I completely legitimately give myself to Him and quit relying on my own strength, bc I know it’s not by my strength but by His.
Every chains that held you bound has been broken because of the blood of Jesus.
