It is accurate to assert that prayer has an effect, though not necessarily in the manner that Christians often describe. Prayer can foster internal growth, enhancing one's inner resilience and providing a sense of support. However, it does not produce significant external changes. The real transformation occurs within the individual, leading them to perceive their prayers as being fulfilled, when, in fact, the outcomes are a result of their own actions. The entire chapter of Deuteronomy 26 talks about tithing. Verses 11&12 go into specifics on how tithing should be divided: Levites (house of God/church), fatherless, widow, and stranger. I feel that you should give a tenth of your money ONLY to a church that actually preaches the Word of God, gives back to the members (in need), community and city the church is based in, a charity national or international organization that is legit, and shows the money being put to work. If you are paying tithes to a church that isn’t doing any of this…stop. 11 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you. 12 When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;

What business does an unbeliever trying to come to Christ have to do with tithing? What business does a believer who has come to Christ have to do with tithing ? None. Saying that tithing is not a law but a principle is deception. 1. God said tithng was law in Malachi 3:7-8 2. Jesus saaid tithing was law in Matthew 23:23 3. The word "principle" means "law; fule; tenet".

God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. ¹Corinthians 10:13. There's no addiction that is stronger than you, you only didn't know the right approach to bring it to an end. Focus on Jesus by studying His Word intensively and being around those who are not struggling with the same addition.
