- Tithing is a big deal for Christians. It's one of the most sensitive topics in Christianity. Some are convinced that every believer should tithe while others think this is an OT command that does not involve Christians. Still, others are left confused, not knowing what to do about this topic. What does the Bible say about tithing? Are Christians required to tithe?

Did it ever say then in the new testament that no more tithing? Giving includes tithes and offering which is what is referring to when it says be generous
Acts 20:35
[35]I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Tithing and giving not to be mixed. John MacArthur, David Pawson, Zac Poonen, Francis Chan are amongst the numerous Bible teachers who mention that tithing is not for Christians.

Churches are still asking week in week out for tithes. Will appreciate they do not mention tithes when collecting and asking for offerings

Yes we should give. But when tithe is mentioned for giving it does put me off.
