You’re right. Someone who was studying forensics interviewed police officers and didn’t like what he heard.

I have a Computer Forensics degree. Obviously, we weren't shown any images but during research, I read a lot of very nasty things. Court manuscripts are readily available. If you want to see if you're okay with this kind of stuff, read the manuscripts from the court case with the Lost Prophets singer Ian Watkins. But be warned, it is very grim and not for the feint hearted

As sensitive as I may be all my aspirations have always been related to judicial jobs, and as far as I know all of my traits are vastly more compatible with cyber forensics than any other area related to those aspirations... I'm still a first year undergrad anyway, I'll have the time to search around the net and see for myself. Thank you for the heads up, subbed.

Probably couldn't do it and I was part of the generation where tons of us as teens went to gore sites out of morbid curiosity. Just can't stand seeing children getting hurt, which I'm sure that would entail. Protected one from being kidnapped at a walmart of all things. No one caught on to what my wife and I caught on to. I remember having a cyber forensic class for my master in cyber security and my final project for the class was to investigate a real fake crime that happened in the past, the names were changed but my professor said it was a real crime. I KID YOU NOT I FOUND Upwards of 2 terabytes of CP on this fake real person’s PC, phones, external storages
And I had to type a 20 page essay about my finding and a paragraph that the press would be able to use as a news source. I did really good on it and my professor wanted me to go into the forensic field but I know I could not stomach anything like this
