- The Japanese carmaker has been present in China for decades and besides models that are known all around the world, there are also several nameplates you can’t find in other markets. The Inspire is a perfect example, as it uses a unique name, even though its design isn’t so exclusive. More precisely, this model heavily relies on the iconic Honda Accord, and that’s something that Honda has been doing for decades. Now the 6th generation is on the way and it will debut as the 2024 Honda Inspire and it will once again share most of the parts with the new, 11th generation of Accord, which debuted in North America recently.

Man, this is what the Accord should have looked like. The US got the grandpa version.
I like that it won't be the go-to car for the ghetto crowd, anymore. Won't miss every other Accord with garbagebag-black tint windows and a sticker on the rear window memorializing the passing of a family member, blinking brake lights, and 1000watt headlight replacements.
This car will not be sold in the United States. Honda caters to the Asian population.
That’s what a lot of foreign carmakers do. The US getting tamed versions of what they sell elsewhere. VW did it with the later versions of the Passat, which has different models in Canada, Europe, and I think China. They also didn’t bring the wagon version of the Arteon, which I think is cooler than the hatchback model. Sometimes I get that automakers try to bring what each area demands, however, I wish there was a way to get the other versions in different markets.
I have been disliking the new grill looks like a Ford Taurus and I dislike Ford and chevy cars junk.... debating between a camry hybrid or accord

This car fixes everything that is wrong with the American version of the Accord. This is a sweet ass ride, Americans got shafted with the base version.

I remember once a time on a Honda Model which called "LEGEND"! The much more better name of this model would be Legend Sedan in my opinion.

No it’s just a more premium accord interior because they don’t get Acuras like us. Kinda like how the Ford Fusion & Modeo are the same but, The Mondeo has a more premium feel.

Accords use to look nice, now they're just ordinary looking. With EV's like Tesla model 3, why would anyone still want to buy a Honda Accord, when gas prices are over the roof ?
The Accord is a size up on the Model 3. The rear seat room is cavernous. The hybrids are efficient for their size.
@@mart0225 Actually, I'm not too crazy about electric only vehicles, I'm more interested in Plug-in Hybrids, so that I get to save money on fuel while being able to have more range, and not get stuck in the middle of nowhere, when the car batteries run or die out. Also, I'm no longer interested in Honda's because they're too late to the EV game. Tesla already beat them to it, by a wide margin.

This car is not available here in the US because we have ACURA. Honda wants the buyer to move up in price to Acura if you want these amenities. They do not have Acura where this Inspire is sold. But I agree this is way nicer over what we get here in the states. lol
But Accura does not make a sedan this size anymore. Sucks.

I think the 10 Gen US Accord was much better looking than the current one. That's a big part of the difference. Also as many mention, there's Acura in the US too. If they made it too nice, no point in having Acuras.

Really nice car , are Accord in the States exterior styling needs a face lift. This is why I’m holding on to my 2.0 T 10 speed accord.

Love my '21 Accord Touring 2.0T. Wouldn't even consider the new Accord with its lame 204 hp. I have no issues with Honda prioritizing the hybrid engine. My beef with them is that they abandoned performance with the 11th generation Accord. Why not continue to offer the 2.0T option to those of us who prefer more power?
The last gen Accoed and also Civic are the best of all..

The tlx exists. The accord is not performance oriented when it first came out. It's going back to its roots as a gas sipping best-selling car.

I bought a ‘22 Accord just because of the looks. The ‘23 looks like Honda’s version of a 20 year old Crown Victoria. Not offering the 2.0 liter turbo with the auto transmission was another bonehead move.

Buyer Beware
If you own or thinking about purchasing a 2023 or 2024 11th generation Honda Accord...Beware.
The gas line, brake lines and evap lines are plastic and are not fully protected by Sheilds, Guards.
These cars have about a 14 inch section were these lines are exposed to road hazards. I had something hit these pipes, one was cut almost completely through, others severely damaged. The repair bill at the Honda dealership is over $7,000.00. I reported this to American Honda as I feel this could have been prevented had lines been metal or at minimum run behind a protective cover.
These undercarriage on these cars are almost completely covered by shields, guards, you even have to remove the skid plate to change oil, filter but Honda decides to leave this section of crucial pipes non protected from road hazards. Honda has refused to take any responsibility for not providing a guard which would prevented such damage. I could have lost my brakes and or a fire started due to damage occurring.
Maybe this will be our face-lifted Accord in the US. They did this before with some of the past, such as with the 8th gen.
Considering what other auto manufacturers are doing they definitely may want to!

If Honda wants to fix Acura.... Reduce the price of the Integra and get rid of its unnecessary features.. bring this vehicle over as the new ILX, and then slot this between the Integra and TLX. BAM.
It looks about the same, save for the tacky LED accent lighting inside. Honestly, some of the features, like the screen for the gauges, will probably end up in the refresh in two years. The taillights maybe, as well.

Better looking than the United States version of the 2023 Accord period I have the opportunity to rent one this week a base LX accord in the United States.
Boring. Build quality is good, but there's nothing, no paddle shifters, no interactive feel, CVT offers no ability to manually shift simulated gears . Bland bland bland, would never buy one now.
Cheap interior appearance for the base model.
Camry has more legroom for the driver too

I wonder if you could buy this car and have it shipped to the USA? Mercedes and BMW will let you do that. I don’t understand why we don’t have the same cars as foreign countries. Acura’s front end is so dated. The plastic V that takes up most of the grille has always been ugly. The rest of the cars as pretty if you can get over that hideous grille.
THIS is what the Accord should look like. I'm in the market for a 4dr sedan to replace my 2014 Mazda 6. I'd buy the Inspire, the NA Accord. Meh. No thank you.
such a shame first copying Audi a7 exterior shape then copying Mercedes Benz grill and they call it completely new design I really don't like where the car industry is going where every car is copying the 3 German giants if this is allowed then they should allow plagiarism in every industry.

The alarm on my bullsh*t warning system goes off whenever I hear the word "luxury" in the auto industry.
I have a 2005 Honda Accord with 250,000 miles on it. Until last year, when the AC compressor needed replacement, I have done only scheduled maintenance on it. My only grouse is that the timing belt service every 100,000 miles is rather expensive. Otherwise I have no issues and will keep this car as long as is feasible.
I have zero need for "luxury" which I interpret as pernicious marketing to separate you from more of your money. No thanks, I'll take just the four wheels.

I live in Colorado. The Honda Accord was never on my new-car list. Ludicrously underpowered 4-cylinder engine. Heading up any mountain pass and you are the laughingstock of I70. FWD only? Yikes. No spare tire? Nope. Not even a (often useless) compact spare. I did buy a new Passport. 🤷♂️
I think Honda is trying to kill their big sedan sales to move people into an SUV. I bet this may be the last we see of the Accord after this gen's model run is done.
