Gotta love the "can you not capsize it"
Is this Mission Bay in San Diego?

Every time that leeward bow gets a little deeper than about 1/4 of its height I get nervous about pitch-poling. I feel more comfortable with the Hobie 16's bow.

Great video, helps me see my mistakes. My Hobie 14 cartwheeled all the time, my T2 never comes close

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In five or ten years I maybe able to afford a used Hobie T2, until then I will be happy with my Hobie Wave.

I would love to get this boat!! Hopefully it's in my future... Still on my Hobie 14 turbo this summer... But we'll see. Great boat Hobie!! Keep it up! Keep calm and sail on. :-)

Hobie should create a concept Catamaran that can foil.

Looks faster than a getaway but not as much buoyancy in the bows as a getaway... Nice boat though..

Why does it weigh as much as the Getaway which can hold so much more crew weight???

specs say its 388lbs!! Other than it being a tank.. i like the design, less likely to pitch pole.. its like a NACRA design..honestly id rather have a NACRA 450 or 500.
