@@RankedMountainBiking hell yeah dude. This is random as shit but as far as tech and steepness goes, how does Windrock stack up to whistler? Ik whistler is way larger, has more elevation etc…. But is Windrock as gnarly as they claim it to be in comparison to somewhere like whistler?
@@Couffee It's hard to say cause the style of trails is a little different. Whistler has more rock rolls and stuff so it's steeper, but easier to control speed. Windrock is just loose dirt with a rain rut as a catch berm for most of the trails. So personally I think windrock has more gnarly steep tech trails, like there's about 3-4 trails at windrock that genuinely scare me every time I ride them. Both places also have pirate trails that are actually insane tho
@@RankedMountainBiking yeah your not kidding about the shear steepness of a lot of the Windrock trails with the catch berms…. I don’t know how the hell people ride horse face, golden oak and a few others in the wet….. I’ve tried in the wet and it was a near death experience lol
WoW! Amazing runs. Can't imagine ;) I rode Sanson Park after my OTB at Aledo just to get back on the horse...It is a tough place, or at least it was for me, was still gun shy but I tried. I'll give it another shot next time I'm there cause it was fun fer sure. Congrats!
Good run man! Quick question for you, I live in the DFW area and trying to get more into Enduro/DH style trails, obviously we do not have that much elevation change in here but wanted to ask you what is the "closest" to start going and hitting these more often, keep ripping it man. 🤙
Yeah there is not much, honestly Sansom is gonna be the closest to Enduro/DH in Dallas, there's a few rowdy trails that just go straight down a water run out that are pretty fun. Big Cedar used to be an awesome spot, but all the cool drops and jumps got taken down so Idk how much is left there. Gateway park has some ok stuff as well. But if you want to actually get good at enduro/DH you should take some weekend trips to Burnet and ride Spider Mountain, Station Mountain, and Reveille Peak Ranch, those are the best spots to ride in Texas and they are all 30min from each other, you can also camp at Station Mountain for $13
Nice killing it.
I remember when you couldn’t make any of the loose corners.
Nice man, knocking them down this season.
Saw your “Get Hard” sticker on the shuttle trailer at Windrock last weekend 😂
Yo, that's hype. I usually leave get hard stickers wherever I go, but a lot of them get taken down

Nice work, that is some impressive riding, especially on how loose Sansom usually is!
