Gonna be honest: If a Saturn-sized planet came hurtling through the solar system, Earth impacting the planet would be the least of our problems.

@@goldenrosey4347 To give some more information, a planet that large flying through the Solar system would destabilize the orbits of pretty much all the planets, but the inner planets the most, since they are so much smaller.
For example, it would be theoretically possible for the planet to slingshot Earth onto a trajectory that would leave the solar system, or God forbid, have it crash into the sun.

The whole Nibiru thing used to terrify me as a young naive kid. Hearing about it today still gets my heart going. Talk about negative nostalgia.
Same here, My Parents when they first started reading the bible and started reading revelations, they would watch interpretation videos and Nibiru/ Planet X was a reoccurring topic. I used to be deathly afraid of it and it would always put me in a state of fight or flight lol. Now about 7 years later i have been able to watch videos like this because reality is, anything like this could happen lol

@@ravenpawgaming3005 According to author Zechariah Sitchin, Nibiru is a Saturn-size rocky planet (as opposed to Saturn being a gas giant) in a 3,600-year paperclip-shaped orbit around our sun. At the time of his writings, Sitchin called Nibiru the 10th planet.
I won't go into all that Sitchin says about Nibiru or its' inhabitants. If you're so inclined, look up his 7-volume book series "The Earth Chronicles" and the companion book, "The Lost Book of Enki."

this is a really good EAS scenario. there are good characters, good editing, good voice acting, ect. there's even an epilouge! good job, juniper. you did a good.

Awesome how you included Chile for the earthquake! Not many people now that chile actually holds the record for largest earthquake and it happened in valdivia as well

10/10. This needs a movie based on this story. My only issue is that the music or EAS tones are louder than the voices, or they're too grainy and staticy to make out. Other than that, one of my favorite EAS scenarios by far.

As a Chilean who lives near Valdivia, hearing an 8.3 earthquake around the beggining of this chaos made me shiver. It feels wrong when EAS where things like flooding and earthquakes are a big topic Chile doesn't get mentioned, glad you mentioned us! :D

You forgot volcanoes. The unequal pressure caused by increasing gravity would cause many (if not all) volcanoes to erupt. Having all the super volcanoes erupt near simultaneously would affect the aftermath quite a bit.

I have to say something. If this happened in real life we would know years maybe hundred of years before it reached us. Well at least I think.
Pretty much.
The further out from a planet, or in this case the Sun, you go, the slower the planet moves.
That's why some of the outer most objects in the solar system have orbital periods of thousands of years.
That and the scenario that plays out here will be pretty different to what actually would happen, especially if the planet gets as close as it does here. We'd all be dead pretty quick just from the tidal forces alone
@@xXWyvernXx21579 and the fact that planetary orbits would be fucked too. so if humans do survive we may have to deal with sahara type temperatures everywhere when close to the sun and siberian winters everywhere when we are far away
@commie_sylveon6563 Close but not quite. There are a few scenarios, but the ones you are describing are slingshot scenarios. We could get shot much closer to the sun, resulting in the earth becoming too hot to be habitable or shot away from the sun and be too cold. The earth's orbit is already elliptical, and fluxuates in distance from the sun bu ~1 million miles/year.

Of all the eas scenarios I’ve seen, this has got to be one of the best ones I’ve seen. My favorite part is when it takes us to the tsunami in California. The eas alert just sounded sooo good even with the alarm with the background. it just sounded so much more suspenseful 👍
Imagine you're playing a game trying to forget the fact Nibiru is actually a thing and also hearing the shit that went down in America, only to hear a Tsunami is also going to occur in UK.
Minneapolis actually has the red border blue background EAS screen. But nice creation of the Zombie Hack screen.

I'm in a bit of a pinch/rut right now, and for some reason horror (SCP stuff, EAS scenarios etc.) kinda helps me cope with stuff in general. I love the message at 45:40 - it's similar to the one towards the end of "Don't look up", and I guess what I want to say is that all my love goes towards everyone involved in the making of these videos. It's just the right kind mix of weird, terrifying and hopeful, and consuming content like this can really make a difference to me for some weird-ass reason, haha.
What I mean is, I really appreciate the love you guys pour into this and I wish you well.

Tip: Warfh this in broad daylight with a glass door to the side of tou so you won’t get scared (like afternoon )
