I just removed the watch case and was able to figure out the timekeeping battery but the LED battery was a mystery as to how to take it out. Thanks for the video!
Hi you only have to take the back off the watch to change the battery for the LED light and you don’t have to take the circuit board out at all. If you have a slot screwdriver half the size of the one in the video all you need to do is. Hold screwdriver vertically and push it in side-on in between the black plastic tabs (near where you levered the battery open) and lever the metal towards the inside edge of the watch. The action is like a tin opener (rock the handle toward yourself and the tip of the screwdriver away from yourself).
This watch battery here, the "SR920SW" is packaged as the "371". You will NOT see "SR920SW" directly on the package, but you will see this number on the battery itself. You might see the number in fine print on the back of the package, but the front of the package will always say "371". *** ALSO......THIS IS IMPORTANT*** The battery in the package might also read "SR921H".... Keep in mind that this is actually the same exact battery and it will fit any watch that takes the "SR920SW". By the way, if I could suggest, I recommend taking the sticker that you pulled of the battery and always stick it immediately on the inside of the watch case cover. This sticker has important information that should always be with the watch. Great video!
@@macdaddypimpping You're welcome! I posted this because I recently went through some trouble figuring this out. I was hoping to spare someone from the same experience I had.
Thank you so very very much for making the video!!! I needed to replace the batteries in a Casio FT-500W 5405 Casio Illuminator watch and without your video I would have been stumped as to how to reveal/replace the second battery. FYI a simple, large needle made pulling back the retaining clip that secures the 'light battery' in the upper assembly. Even my smallest screwdriver couldn't get in properly, but the needle worked brilliantly! Thanks again for you video! ff
If you can change the batteries can you take the winder out and then take the face of the watch out as well ? If you can do that you could change the hands etc and customise the watch. I don’t like the arrow type hour hand some much.
I want to thank you for a very delightful and helpful video. I really helped me a lot because of your thorough and precise presentation. I really don't know why some people don't like it. I found it appalling, you don't deserve those negative comments, reactions and feedback. Keep up the good work hommie.
im pretty sure the cr battery is for the light while the sr battery is for the watch movement. try to use the sony sr battery as the replacement to because it has a higher maH rating and less leakage prone. i dont know much a the panasonic battery but i imagine it was chosen by the manufacturer to obtain the best possible performance and leakage prevention. i just saw the maxell sr battery for watch movement. I dontknow much about the maxell battery
@@macdaddypimpping would you be kind enough to do a small video for your fans? I don't know where to push the pin from and I'm sure many don't. I bought this watch because of your vids hahahaha
@@macdaddypimpping thank you very much. That's awesome! I really want to get the Blushark NATO BOND strap. It will look awesome. The bracelet pulls and tugs at the hairs on my wrist. Owch.
A "how to" video from a guy who's never done it before himself..........Though I have to concede I wondered why my watch needs two batteries, and he cleared that up for me.
Awesome job, the watch is a fantastic edc watch, thank you for the video 👍
Excellent video. A very clear explanation and demonstration of the procedure. Please keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!

Can you suggest some best watch battery brands ? By the way, Casio uses which brand batteries in its watch ?

شكراً جزيلاً على الشرح الوافي

How do I remove the bracelet on this watch please?
You will need a very small flat head screwdriver and push the pin to release the watch bracelet or band.

How long are you taking.
It is a nice try. But obviously, although you are giving a tutorial, you yourself are groping in the dark for a way to take the batteries out...

Спасибо! :))
you really need to get a watch case opener from harbor freight tools for 5.99 U.S. dollars
Cr1616
Cr1616 3v
Why are you struggling so much to open a simple watch.
Some back cover on the watch is tighter than other from factory.
