Just found you as I’m looking at the same bike at the moment, just can’t decide between three. All about the same price once spec’d to my liking, all have their pros and cons but the T7WR keeps coming out as my #1. Hope you’re enjoying yours. 👍
@@MarkN67 Thanks,.. Ye they a great alrounder of a machine, i fancy a ktm 1290 super adventure for some road action, scotland runs etc... you can do it all on the world raid, the suspension for a factory bike is unreal.. i say go for it, it took me a while to get used to it after the 890 but once settled in, its a great machine 👍🏻
@ have you had to up the spring rate for your bike? I’ve read that the standard T7 is quite soft but the WR has been upgraded. I’m not an off roader but I do like a gravel track now and then. I would say that 95% of my riding will be solo (Bobby no mates!) on road, I like to ride alone and at my own pace, the range on the WR looks great and the lack of electronics and cost of servicing are all the big pluses for me. I did hear you talk about the phone bracket but I didn’t catch the name and it doesn’t look like a quad lock, what is it? I’m just going through another video at the moment - your Wales loop, you have a great style, no BS, just a simple (I mean that nicely!) down to earth chat, great 👍 PS Your exhaust sounds great too.
@@MarkN67 Honest,..not had to touch spring rate at all,..if you absolutely "get on it" i could see the benefits,..but its so over capable and a ride to location and hit the trails kind of bike.., haha ye the phone holder is (ultimate add ons) its been really robust to be fair, exhaust is a cheaper black widow,..which is ok and sounds amazing,..but ive now ordered a titanium delkevic and are tweaking a few things., the best mod ive done is the dunlop trailmax raids,..if you road ride to locations they are a must, the grip on road in the wet is incredible.. Good luck mate, hope all works out for you 👍🏻
And I sold my Tracer 9GT because it was dull. Fast yeah, but dull. Full on Triumph now mate. Speed Twin 1200 and soon a Tiger 1200 Rally Pro as well. Love your accent, cool innit?!
