My girlfriend and I are getting into event rentals...I will show this to her.....so cool. I'm thinking uplighting it would really look nice as well Thank you for making this video
Wished I saw this video sooner last week, i wouldn’t throw my money away. Renting 2 cylinders from someone who claimed to have party rental supplies. What a great tutorial easy and simple to follow. Thank you for sharing your DIY cylinders idea.
The next event you have, make your own and save yourself a lot of money. This diy is so durable you can wrap different color poster board or spandex covers around it and get any effect you want.
Love it ! "Yes guys I was dumpster diving" 😂 u be surprised what is found u did a great job looks fantastic as crafters we can see the potential in anything
Thank you for sharing , instead of dumpster diving for the fabric bolts lol you can just go inside and ask for them and they’ll give you as many as you need
Love this video. But may I suggest using double sided carpet tape which is super strong and wouldn’t show at the seam. I do balloons and it’s one of my favorite tapes.
Thanks for this. Ive seen other tutorials but they used materials that are either hard to find or hard to cut. I think I can find all of the materials you used. 😊
DEFINITELY DOING THIS PROJECT BUT A FEW CHANGES AS MINE R FOR PLANT STANDS SO IM ADDING LOCKING WHEEL'S TO BOTTOM, MAYBE A LIP SO MY PLANT DOESN'T FALL OFF AND MORE STURDY.... I LOVE YOUR IDEA!!!
This is awesome! Glad I stumbled on this video. Question: It looks like you added anther base with the cake circe onto the insert on 19:12. Can you tell me what it was? Thanks for sharing!
You could cut the panel lower than 23" inches but not sure what type of tool you would need to do that without cracking it. Maybe something that cuts acrylic.
If you want you can cover it with fabric or metallic poster board. I have a video coming up showing how to cover it with red poster board for a little boy's birthday party.
I love this project. I’m wondering could you place a centerpiece on top of it for the sweet heart table? This is a great and easy project. Thanks for sharing!
Do not apply too much pressure when trying to fold the panel. You have to push down on it slightly on a carpeted surface and then tape it. These are fragile, so don't try and go hard because you will crack it. If you're a dude, get your girl to do it because you can't apply muscle to this. Also check and make sure the panel you buy does not have a pre-existing crack. Inspect the panel thoroughly before you purchase it to make sure there are no hairline cracks whatsoever.
@@OneHipSistahDIYcreations Thank you for the reply. The one that I was working on had a pre-existing crack as you mentioned. Thought it would not affect since it was at 2 inches away from edge and the fold would be covering it. I will use a fresh one.

This video is a life saver...thank you so much...
This is awesome! Glad I stumbled on this video. Question: It looks like you added anther base with the cake circe onto the insert on 19:12. Can you tell me what it was? Thanks for sharing!
It actually looks like another thicker cake drum under the flatter one.
This is awesome. What would you recommend to make different sizes? Should you cut the panel?
You could cut the panel lower than 23" inches but not sure what type of tool you would need to do that without cracking it. Maybe something that cuts acrylic.
Excellent video! Thanks for sharing this tutorial!
your welcome!
Has anyone used the light panel as is without covering it with poster board?
Great job! I run a review channel and I’m going to try your technique & credit you! Thanks for sharing ❤️
What did you glue on the bolts before you glued the cake round? I see another round piece that wasn’t mentioned in the video.
I added a extra 12" nylon cake round on the bottom, but you don't have to.
Any ideas how to make this more weighted? For outdoor and windy days?
So would you cover it with some kind of fabric so it looks polished for a really fancy event?
If you want you can cover it with fabric or metallic poster board. I have a video coming up showing how to cover it with red poster board for a little boy's birthday party.
Or fairy lights inside...
nice tutorial thank u very helpful 🙌🏻
Great video
Nice
Maybe white wrapping paper?
Is this can hold 50 kg cake??? I don’t think but good idea
Great tutorial! Thank u!❤️
Your welcome. Thanks for checking out the video.
Beautiful
Thank you Michelle. Appreciate you!
Maybe use some clamps on either side as you work on holding it before you tape them together. Easy peezy
Great idea!!
You did that sisSTAR
Thank you! :-)

Yes, if it is silk / artificial flowers you are good! Thanks for watching!
This is awesome!!!
What would you suggest to make it more sturdy for a 2-tier cake?
Use cut wood underneath instead of cardboard.
the panel that i bought broke when i was folding it. would you know why? i bought pretty much the same.

@@jralz4620 Yeah, quite of few of them will be cracked when you go to Lowes or Home Depot, so look carefully.
Love it thanks for sharing. Try using the Hobby Lobby brand they come in all sizes and colors.
Hobby lobby varies the clear ceiling panels in different sizes?
Are you referring to the light panels?
Loved réussi! you did a fabulous job❤❤❤
Much love sweetie! Thank you for your support!
.Loved it. Will definitely be making these for my parties!
@@CraftyCue You will be happy with the results!
Love it!
Could I cover the outside with contact paper for cabinets or wall paper?
I would use the posterboard first and then put the contact paper over it.
Is this heavy enough to where it’s not knocked over easily?
Yes.
You sound like Wanda Sykes lol
Lol I thought the exact same thing
Wow Weldon
How much can it hold
The way I made it I would stick with items around 5 lbs if you make it with wood underneath of course you can go much heavier
How tall is it
Watch the video. All the details are in the video.
too expensive.
Your next video please don't do so much talking just show us and speak less please
Wow this was rude. How else would you know exactly what to do without someone explaining?
Love it!
