This is great, I've been looking for polyboard/v-flat holders and only came across really expensive options. I love that even I could diy this at home :)
wonderful idea. I am looking for DYI some V-FLAT's for this weekend and it's going to be and OUTDOOR shoot and I was wondering what I would do if it became too windy. You stands looks like they would be perfect as a great support in and out of studio. thanks so much.
Pea Nut honestly, this is the only kind of a shelf holders that they had in Lowe’s and the screws, I just matched them in the store, whichever fit the holes
Felicia Music there is no link since I got it in the store. The brand is really doesn’t matter they are different at Lowe’s and Home Depot. The one I used are 2” Owens Corning FOAMULAR 150 Pink color ones. These are the only ones HOme Depot had at the time, they all the same though;-)
Hi! Thanks for sharing. In the end did you screw the foam board to the shelf holders? Or am I understanding that by creating the base with the wood and shelf holders you can change the foam in and out as needed?
Fizzah Raza hi! You are exactly right, I didn’t screw them , I can ( and I do) easily slide the board when I need, or remove them. But of course you can screw them if you want it permanent... but honestly I don’t see the reason cause even like this board holds perfectly secure and you get the mobility option:-)
I would like to send pics of a back drop stand for an instructional video request. It's beautiful and it has a picture frame look with a vinyl backdrop print out.
What a good idea! Would you be able to use on round backdrops as well? I'm trying to picture in my head if that would work or not. Let me know if you've ever done that please. Thanks for sharing.
@@YulianaChiPhotography thank you so much! you have no ideas how helpful this is, hope you have a wonderful holidays ahead! happy new year and merry Christmas!

If outdoors I would suggest something with long cleats that you can insert into the ground unless you are going to be on rock/concrete.
