In my mind I was spinning like I was put in a blender so fast I couldn't hold in ..let go hit the ground..everything cleared up..haven't been dizzy since.. this happened last Friday ..Dr couldn't find anything.. 🤷🏻
I am 60 years, I have a stomach flu for almost a week. I feel dizzy at any movement of lying down, bend down to pick up something, looking up or reaching something above my head.
Really no disrespect, I had lightheadedness for 5 years yes big mistake I was told I had Vestibular Disorder coming from my ears 5 years wrong. 6month of therapy now I find out nothing wrong with ears I have a lesion on the left side of brain. I get light headed every day like I am going to pass out like vomiting. I already saw a heart doctor. Now I am starting from scratch. Now I am going to have two different test . I am fed up. It has not gone away I have all day I rest all the time I am tired of resting I DONT spin at all. I been check out
Have you ever tried taking an antihistamine or a decongestant? That helps me. If I take the antihistamine, it dries me out & makes me tired but I feel better. If I take a decongestant, it makes me feel better with no side effects but I don’t take it at bed time b/c it can keep me stay awake awhile.
I have an ear balance,in one ear,and a hole in the other ear,on mornings I notice I is have a slight dizziness on mornings,or headache ,could an infection in the brain cause that ,I also hardly sleep at nights, this has being going on for years, since I went through menopause.
I was advised antihistamines too but im worried they may cause dizziness though i know they may help alot. May i ask what you have tried and any side effects?@@believer2734
Somewhat confusing to understand want you’re saying fully but there could be a few reasons I guess for dizziness but the vestibular is a core area for that. I’d make sure before you move on from one thing to check another to be as sure as you can. Just becuase on person said you don’t have an issue somewhere doesn’t mean that’s true. They could be wrong. So you have to know enough about it to even assess if the one telling you that is educated well. I’d start from the basics and build up working knowledge of the systems it can be then make a system and criteria of what info you need to reasonably check something off as a cause.
Hi Doc! it's good I've this content. This has been my situation for a long time. I guess my situation falls under the category #2. I often feel this after a strenous activity, or when I'm hungry, short hour of sleep. My BP never goes up.
What if you always feel lightheaded and tingling/numbness in your scalp and feel the need to sleep and if you dont you faint anytime you get still for any length of time?
I have all of the three symptoms. What I can't understand Doctor, is why my bed is wet, not with pee, but alot of water on it. And, why do I feel stable when inebreated, when sober I am unsteady? I just can't figure this one out.
I have 24/7 vertigo and have had for 9 months. It never goes away. I've seen a balance physio. He did the Hall-Pike and I had nystagmus on the left. And he did the Horizontal Roll test and I had nystagmus on my right. I have 56% hearing in my right ear and some negative pressure and terrible tinnitus. BPPV fits when I'm bending down and looking up. But the rest of the time I have constant vertigo that never goes away and I can't balance. I'm 41 and I have to use a walking stick to go out and I rely on the walls and furniture at home to get around. Finally a GP is taking this seriously and not just putting it down to Covid. I also have Narcolepsy and Fibromyalgia. I can't see properly most of the time and half the time i have to close one eye and squint to be able to read -- like right now. The GP tried Betahistine but it made it a lot worse so I was told to stop it. He also put me on Escitalopram and I'm on Ritalin for my Narcolepsy and Pregabalin for my Fibromyalgia pain. Plus I'm on Betavit. None of it is really helping. Neither is the Epley Manoeuvre. The right side of my head feels kinda heavy and full. I am fatigued and when my balance is bad I can't think or function properly as I'm so focused on balancing I can't focus on anything else. I can't work. And it's hard to be a good Mum to my 16yo son. I had an MRI and it was clear. I can't find any condition that gives constant vertigo. Even Meniere's veritgo is periodic and mine is not. It's persistent. The physio says an ENT wouldn't do anything much he wasn't doing but I think there's something else going on apart from BPPV because the vertigo with that is widely reported to last up to about 90 seconds - but it's almost been 9 months of it. - My BP and blood sugar is ok. - I don't drink caffeine. - I had the vertigo before I started the Pregabalin so it's not that. - I've been on Ritalin for 12 years so it's not that. - I'm definitely stressed and anxious. - I get fatigued when it's bad because I can't sleep. - I don't get light headed much. - I vear off to right when walking but everything spins to the left. - I am very sensitive to light. I keep my curtains closed all the time and have to wear sunglasses outside because the light bothers me. - My iron level is ok. - I'm not pregnant. - Blood tests are ok. - Don't have allergies or sinus. - I get quite a lot of headaches. - I'm sensitive to loud noises in my right ear. - I have a fast heartrate resting of about 120bpm. - I had Myocarditis in 2021 and it wasn't due to the vax. Your videos have given me some points to raise with my new GP on Tuesday. Thank you Lex
You can also check out a posture restoration person or a biological dentist to check for sensory input issues. Have anti histamines helped if you’ve tried them? How hydrated are you? Have you has any reflux symptoms or silent reflux symptoms? Have you had the vestibular checked?
You can also check out a posture restoration person or a biological dentist to check for sensory input issues. Have anti histamines helped if you’ve tried them? How hydrated are you? Have you has any reflux symptoms or silent reflux symptoms? Have you had the vestibular checked? It’s sounding like a nervous system maybe neck related issue. Sort of complicated stuff. Do you have forward head posture? How are your reflexes? So far I’ve send micro and macro trauma internally and externally as causes of nervous system damage, as as well viral infection which I guess could be like internal micro trauma maybe.
My name is Caroline I have type 2 diabetes Been having problems Having dizzy episode My head is spinning like if I'm on a roller coaster I've had it for the last 3 days I'm not sure what's causing it
Happened to me for the last two days I just came here to search what is going on on me. I’ll feel like when I was kid doing a Disney so now it’s happened to me real. 😢
And one time, I can't even tell like the room all spinned crazy in my head, my vision got black and also I've heard the voices of something that I've been watching... than when I woke up, I forgot everything for a second
Can MRI cause dizziness the following day, and be accompanied with bad headache which last all day? I do get frequent headaches upon awakening. I had been evaluated by an ENT in 2021 for the dizziness resulting in a numerous referrals to 5 different specialists. I am going to hear from the Neurologist this coming week. Also, I have noticed tension in the back of my knees after 2 hours of working on the computer. How is this related to the MRI & the 4 AM headache which prevents me from sleeping 🛌 like normal people do? Thank You Doctor! How can I get in touch? What specialist do I need to see?
Hi there,I am going through periods of dizziness,it started like three weeks ago and it still going on after seeing the doctors and doing check ups and blood test,it scares me some times, headaches, loose my balance,I feel like I’m going to land on my head,my vision feels weird, I feel some times brain activity like electricity going through my head,I don’t know what is happening, sometimes last minutes, sometimes hours 😢.
Wow, I remembered now this feeling of “electricity going through your head” when you are trying to sleep 🛌 😴 and it scares the hell out of me. What the doctors say?
@DanielReyes-uq4wd, how are you doing now? You got me concerned, bro...!!! I have dizziness all day long after I had an MRI of the brain 🧠 🧠, and the neck on July 7th, 2023. They found some spurs on my neck.
Thanks for comment. Yes, it's a good question, i'll definitely add it to the list of potential topics or at least weave it into one my future talks. Thanks for watching!
I’ve been dizzy and off balance when getting up and walking nothing spinning only it’s me feeling dizzy , it’s normal when laying down, almost 3 months now , MRI,blood test are normal…any advice please.
Yeah, I feel really weak, and my vision goes off, it's like slowly goes black and I have to blink multiple times or need to switch the light to actually get back to normal..
You forgot to say that depression is another cause of vertigo.Depression causes stiff nape muscles ,consecuently they obstruct good blood flow to the ears where balance is.
I am near going crazy. I have a spontaneous CSF leak . I don't know if it's because of that or not, but sometimes (very frequently recently) when I turn my head or move , the back of my skull experiences a sudden wave of numbing tingles . I feel disoriented and can't breathe. It lasts for several seconds and is pretty scary but then I'm alright . I tell doctors this and they just shrug. 🥲

Try to take Vitamin D3+K2, 10,000-20,000 IU once a day.

Hope you feeling bit better
Look up p.p.p.d it's a dizziness disorder
Rule. Out multiple sclerosis too or occipital neurolagia. (Nerves at base of neck that can cause dizziness.)
You can also check out a posture restoration person or a biological dentist to check for sensory input issues.
Have anti histamines helped if you’ve tried them?
How hydrated are you?
Have you has any reflux symptoms or silent reflux symptoms?
Have you had the vestibular checked?
