It pays off getting up early and you can ride up and down without any hassle. No need to walk. That is insane. Also not that many people. Just the freezing wind and 4 degrees at the top was not very pleasant.
@@lonewolfonapath I was at the top around 9:30 The ascend was very different from the descent. Only about an hour later, but lots and lots of cyclists and pedestrians. Lautaret was so crowded. You know that very well.
