I love how all the horses get patted simultaneously before dismounting
it might be some form of thing they do for them or a well done kinda thing / dismount warning
@@harrymcandrew1447 yes dismounting warning and a well done. Not as big but I do the same with my dog at night. Pet her loads then hold my hand on her firmly for a few seconds then let go. She settles and goes to sleep

The horses seem quite tall and what nice fur saddle blankets!
The guard's are between 5ft 10" & 6ft 2" tall so obviously the horses also have a required height , it's quite something to be stood close to them

Penultimate the fur saddle blankets are sheep skin, can you imagine The thousands of sheep that did not want to die that were killed so someone could sit on their skins,this is 2022 many wonderful fabrics available without causing suffering and death to innocent sentient beings.

These horses are very well trained. With all the clanking, talking, flag waving, saber rattling. It’s good for tourists, but kind of unnerving for a horse. The horses behave very well. 🐴

@@jjradV do you know that fir sure? All horses are different like people. I hate crowds. I hate rowdy parties but I am in a minority. Most people seem to love all that communal stuff. Horses that cant cope with all that won't be if any use to the guards. Some will, like most commuting office workers, just tolerate it for the benefits of food and a roof over their heads. Others will enjoy it.

@@jjradV These horses are better cared for, and have a far better retirement than almost any horse in "civilian" life. Just admit that you don't want horses ridden at all. And that's not going to happen.
