Already done. I may not comment on every video, but I do watch all of them . Those poor guards and horses have soooo much to put up with someone has to stick up for them 😕
I'm so happy to see the horse stopping people from touching him. I love it.
I think the horse actually likes the attention
@@flonniegray probably, but when they are trying to bite you. Or even pish you away. That's an indicator that they have had enough
That horse's markings resemble Ormonde. Known to have zero tolerance for stupid.
They stand opposite a horse and watch it snapping at everyone who approaches it, and STILL they try to pet it when it has made its feelings perfectly clear. I have no sympathy for any of these stupid tourists.
It’s the adults that watch a horse try to bite several people and yet still wait in line for a photo, with a small child sometimes a baby in their arms, those kind of people need carting off by the Bobbies and details taken with an explanation that it is child neglect and the fine is £500 on the spot or arrested and the child taken until a responsible member of the family turns up to collect them or the fine is paid in full there and then and they are told to leave the area and not allowed to return for a year. I know it sounds way over the top and won’t happen but it sure would stop the idiots putting little ones at risk.!
They feel that they are special, that they have a bond with the horse and it would never bite them,....Idiots😅
, I absolutely agree with you on that one 100%
@@rosies14exactly what I came to say. They all think they know how to pet and not get bit. 😒😒😒
Why would these people want to stand so close and continue to try and touch the horse after being told not to touch the horse, and obviously seeing the horse is in the biting mood! These tourists are unbelievable. One lady looked annoyed she couldn’t get a second picture because the horse kept trying to bite her. I don’t know how the guards put up with their nonsense. I’m from the USA and I can’t believe how the tourists behave. They can’t even respect each other as they all try to surround the guard to get a picture. Totally ridiculous!
Really !
And I hate to think how many are Americans.
I as well! I was throwing around the idea of taking a vacation in Germany with brief stops in England, Switzerland and Austria but watching these tourists make me cringe!!! I don’t want to be thought of an ignorant, brash, stupid, idiotic American tourist…
I would hope the Americans are NOT the worst tourists. I would be totally embarrassed.
I totally agree with you, it is obvious that he isn’t a petting horse by anyone and everyone but the public have got,the idea these animals are there for their entertainment, they aren’t, they are there to a job of work as are the guards. Leave them all alone, treat them with respect, have a picture if you must but don’t suffocate the animal to get it.
The majority of Americans say thank you, and most don't pet the horse. I listen to the accent because they brag about about what they got away with.
Wow. A lot of ignorance on display today. That horse is expressing itself quite clearly.
I love the way he lulls them into a false sense of security by standing still and quiet then picks his moment and his victims yet they don't get the message 😂😂😂 . Very intelligent horse , I think I'm right his name is Ormonde .
These horses are amazing, I'm sure they learn, chatting in the boxes at night, working out a plan !! 🤣🐎🤣🐴🤣
@@mariaharrison7228😂😂😂 like who we going to bite today? Well I don’t blame the horses. They are warned
Yup, Arnie is in a biting mood, "mess with me and see what you get". Lol
@@justbystander770 They have brilliant self control, I'd sink my teeth in! 🐴🐎🐴
Yes this is Ormonde❤ he has a wrench shaped mark on his forhead and he's a beauty with attitude just like his mate Arnie ❤❤❤
Love it when the horse controls the tourists and the guard doesn't have to yell.
That one old lady at 5:20 was so awkward. Then when she was walking away, she had to say “ we own horses and I got bit more than my share” I love the guy th at said “ I wonder why”
This beautiful horse has definitely been to Arnie’s Biting Training School…he graduated with flying colours! Duty well done this afternoon Mr Horse!
Need More of Arnie I love him
I was thinking from the title that we had the wonderful Arni the Tourist Hater back for a moment. This horse must surely have a certificate from Arni's biting school.
I bet they are brothers!
Amazing the number of people who can not read! The NEW sign ALL IN “CAPS” that YELLS “BEWARE - HORSES MAY KICK OR BITE -- the new line DON’T TOUCH THE BRIDLE, recently added, yet so many think rules are for somebody else. So much praise for all military serving this duty tour, especially those on guard duty, so much patience needed and displayed, while serving so many who think this is just a tourist attraction. But then so much of our military is disrespected, our nation’s would not have what freedoms we have if not for their service to their specific nation. Our liberties in the USA are being challenged daily by a government that is becoming more and more tyrannical.
Put the certificate up in his stall
I am not surprised the horse is biting.Stupid people insist on trying to pet him when he clearly does not want them near him. A few more good bites should do the trick.
You must be talking about the dumb lady at 8:20
It’s amazing how he is so gentle and careful when it’s children near him
These horses are so good at "reading" people. Wonderful that, for the most part, they don't go after the small children. Good to see. Horses are very intuitive.
What was it thinking when it tried biting that man's c..k off !!! Has it been abused in the past or does it just hate men.
Small children, older kids, young & older teens respect the horse’s warnings & move off! In fact, they try not to crowd the horse in the first place - it’s their parents who shove them in too close!
I saw a video yesterday with 2 adults in wheelchairs, one with probably cerebral palsy, the other was older, each had an attendant. They placed the wheelchairs on each side of the horse, the guard didn’t say anything, the horse gently nuzzled each man & the response of, especially the man with CP, was pure joy & excitement. The horse was rock solid steady & gave these 2 gentlemen a pure moment of joy. He never reacted to the wheelchairs, allowed the attendants to position them to get a good picture. That was just so nice to see. Much nicer than those who react as if they are entitled to do whatever they want & show absolutely no respect for soldier or horse.
mainly the adult women not seeming to give a toss how annoyed the horse is with their insistent petting.
@@a-b-c123 He bites at them and they don't move. What is wrong with people!!!
Go, Ormonde, go!🙂 Show these ignorant tourists what a Royal Guardshorse is! You've just got to love him!❤
The horses are getting fed up with all of these tourists hey leave me alone don’t keep touching my nose etc😂😂😂
Totally agree with you is now out of control with these damn pesky tourist..So ignorant disrespectful obnoxious mannerless morons.
Don't touch the horses
Don't touch the reins
Don't touch the guards
Don't touch the guards boots
Don't touch anything meaning absolutely anything.
Don't feed the horses they are well fed and cared for..
And some even had Arnie teach them in his school of how to do it
NIP BITE NUDGE HEADBUTT and STAPM ON TOES.
❤❤❤
They think its funny but they wouldn't think so if they got bitten. Well done to the horse
There were four times that these tourists could have been seriously injured if they had persisted. That horse meant business! Mouth open, teeth showing and just one movement away from a full clamp down on a shoulder. Those people were very lucky. Good for you horse. Guard was even warning them.
And ears back!Always watch the ears they are a good indication of how the horse is feeding!
Then they giggle when the horse tries to bite?
Guard does not hold conversations with idiots. There is a sign !! Just watched a man in blue top keep trying to grab the horse repeatedly despite the horse making it clear it would bite!
The horse certainly wasn't in the mood to be petted or have anybody near him. Anybody standing too close was being told to go away by this horse. We all have our 'off' days, even horses 😁
This particular horse (can tell by the shape of the white on his face-“wrench face”-is ALWAYS trying to bite! It seems to be a game with him though he does connect on occasion. You are right though: seems to get along with a few people.😊
If you do not want to get bitten do not touch the horse
It needs more of the horses to bite properly. Then perhaps they will take more notice of the signs 😅😅
would love all the sentry guard horses to be the ones who like to bite! 😂
This horse is well schooled. He stands still but bites to make people keep their distance. Good work
My entire career of over 45 years was spent working with horses in virtually every capacity. Ever since I started watching these videos, I have been predicting this behavior would develop over time with some and eventually nearly all the guard’s horses that are continually exposed to these IDIOT tourists. Horses prefer to be left alone, and when they are not, they find ways to express that, and sometimes it develops into aggression. Under these circumstances, I cannot blame them.
And some of these people just do not get the message the horse is trying to send. I expect that eventually someone will get seriously hurt, I just hope that it is not a child.
I dont understand how people don't recognise pinned ears. Flat ears in pretty much every animal never means anything good.
The horses shouldn't be made to do this job when it is evident they are distressed by it. I rode horses for over a decade and wouldn't go near this beautiful horse displaying his stress and body language he isn't happy being around the people and noise.
So right...and watching them creep up to the horse , who has his ears back, with their hand reaching out....for the reins, or to strike a "ta dah, here's my horsey" pose is nails on a chalkboard.
@@Cozycountry1 Well said, indeed.
Granted, I’m not from England, and I may be missing something here, but this seems to be a long-outdated function for the justly revered Royal Mounted Horse Guard. The guards and their horses need not be subjected to this daily abuse by the public just so some insensitive and uncaring IDIOT can have a picture taken while putting themselves and others in jeopardy and causing perpetual stress for the guards and their horses. I keep saying it, but it is inevitable that some will eventually get seriously hurt as a result, and I hope it is not an innocent child.
This so-called guarding of the gates of White Hall can easily and far more effectively be accomplished by the heavily armed police already stationed there.
100%. You are right in your observations, I am British born and bred, anti-royal, but this guarding on horseback is just more of a display for so called "tradition". The job can easily be done by a guard standing on a 2 hour rotation rather than using horses simply for decorative purposes because we are lumbered with a "royal family". It is inevitable a tourist will be kicked or bitten, the sign is next to the horse and guard, but the dumb tourists still want a picture next to a distressed animal. I hate to see the horses clearly upset and telling everybody, please go away, I hate this role and all that goes with it. I am thinking of starting a petition to end the use of horses in this capacity. Even number 10 Downing Street has police standing on guard for the Primeminister and other ministers for protection so that family, only in the position by birth, don't need horses standing there being subjected to conditions which thry obviously hate.
Good boy he,s watching everyone not letting them get to close .he,s not in the mood for tourists, well done to guard
Oh Ormonde, you & dear Arnie do your service proud! With much admiration from the USA, Becky
Mit großer Bewunderung auch aus Deutschland für Ormonde und Arnie, auch für ihre großartigen Wächter. Mein Respekt. ❤
I may be crazy but I've noticed most of the horses that bite seem to only try to bite teens and adults. This beautiful horse tried to bite the woman who tried to touch his nose, but not the little girl. He let the girl scratch his nose. I've also noticed even the horses who shake their heads alot will be still for children.
You're correct. He is extremely gentle with children.
It’s amazing that people keep trying to pet the horse and ignoring the horse’s warnings.
Guard… he bites! .. tourists… going to still try and touch his face and get as close as they can anyway 🤦♀️
The late Queen would have been very proud of this horse. He is not a pushover, he commands respect. And he is so gorgeous! I like his white socks on his hind legs which distinguishes himself from the other horses.
“You’re in my space tourist!” “Leave me alone!” “No I don’t want to play, I’m working!”🐴
Exactly this! They're doing a job, they're on duty. So many ignoramus tourists that don't research the protocol
How many of you would keep reaching out to a dog that was trying to bite you and a lion or tiger. But it’s ok to keep reaching towards the horse trying to bite you.
I call it the My Little Pony syndrome.
You remember those candy colored plastic horses with big hair ...
Personally, I would never try to pet a lion or tiger! But that is just me!
😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍
To much, because this People are more than stupid!!!
This beautiful horse has had waaaaaay more than ENOUGH of rude, disrespectful and clueless humans! Every time he drew close enough, he did his level best to give them a taste! It didn’t take long for me to start cheering for that horse! Imagine feeling so “entitled” to giving the horse a pat as to ignore his clear warning! They smile like idiots when the horse reaches, believing the animal would never bite THEM! It’s all a show, right?
Unbelievably bad human behavior!
That guard handled that horse like the professional he is!
Well done, horse and rider! ❤️🐈
Why do ppl insist on taunting him? I hope the horse wins. Ppl can be bullies.
Do you ever wonder how these rude people would act if you walk up to them and rub their nose or get right into their personal space. I don’t understand.
I was wondering the same thing! They wouldn’t like it at all!
Yep, I've often thought the same thing.
TO THEM,HE'S JUST A HORSE AND HAS NO SAY ABOUT WHAT THEY CAN DO TO HIM.
You would think after the second or third time trying to touch the horse and he wouldn't let them, they might give up.🤔
The horse doesn't try to bite the children, just adults or older kids. Smart horse.
He’s not taking crap from anybody.
This is painful to watch, the horse is stressed and doesn’t want to be touched and it constantly has to fend off tourists.
People try very hard to get children closer to the horse...do they even care they are putting the childs life or safety at risk?
Unbelievable, eh! Older they get, the more stupid!
Ears are down, leace him be 😊
Leave!!!

We need this horse to train all the other horses so the harassment will stop.
its funny how the little kids are smarter then the adults/...lol
This is the same horse from the other video on a different day. He does not tolerate b.s. Keep your distance and show respect. He commands respect. I just love him.
It is so great that they stayed with tradition and didn't replace the horses and the stunning uniforms. People come from all over the world to see this.
With the majority of horses biting now, it has certainly slowed the eager tourists to TOUCH.. good job Horses, you are doing a grand job.. well done.
Know what I have decided that this is animal cruelty if you were a security guard standing your post, would you appreciate 100 people coming up and touch your face I don’t think so. This is wrong. It needs to be reported to the cruelty center.😡
I think guard's horse are fed up with the tourists!
That older woman with sunglasses sounds to say "something something bite" so she must be English speaking and understanding the Beware sign and still she is surprised that the horse bites. Unbelievable!
She said “ we own horses and I’ve got bit more than my share ” SO STAY AWAY!!!
Very Handsome before and after guards new faces? in the right box. The weather looks beautiful. Sunny maybe cooler now. The horse is making good use of his choppers today. 😂 good because the people today are teasing him and they can’t take a hint.
And another very handsome guard!
Horse: "I am not here to be your friend. I have an important job to do. Keep your distance away from me.".
It's high time this ridiculous nonsense was stopped and they were forbidden to photograph.
The lady in the black leather jacket is harassing the horse. He does not want to play with you. Then the man goes right behind her to do the same. You are not a horse whisperer and sir he does not like you better.
Need more horses like that to keep tourists back
Horse wondering when is the hour up?
😊
It always fascinates me how the horses differentiate between human adults and children. Ormonde attempted to bite virtually every adult that got close but not that little girl at 14:17
"I'm sick of these pesky tourists, I'm going to have some fun today"
Im sorry but its about time a sign was put " In The Interest Of The Horses Welfare Tourists Are No Longer Permitted To Touch The Horse" and there should be someone at each guard making sure that the tourists take one picture then walk away.
They won’t be told leave the alone or get bitten selves them right 🧌🧌🧌
Es gibt SCHILDER!! Wer lesen kann, ist klar im Vorteil🤷♀️🤷♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤣🤣
Tourists need to learn how to “read the room” so to speak. They don’t care if the animal is irritated or just not feeling it today, they want their picture and the entitled tourist will get that picture come hell or high water.
Yes arrogant narcissists! But it’s the older people mostly - I’m 69 & think too many old people have forgot their manners! So glad to see that 99% of you g’uns are respectful of horse’s feelings! ❤
Young’uns!
Absolutely love this horse. He is definitely a challenger for Arnies Crown. 😂😂💕🏴
Where is Arnie theses days?
@@lazyldy I don’t know. Really miss him and his antics.😂❤️🏴

Beautiful horse 😊
About time..I would like to line up the tourist and have everyone passive by rub their noses!!!
Hahahaha
Best video today…love this horse ❤
The horses ears are back. It means he’s mad. You don’t stick you hand in his face of a mad horse. There is no depth to stupid.
He be spicy today… and don’t care who…😂
I'm sure some tourists think they are horse whispers
"keep your distance hooomans". Love this horse.
Which part of ‘get the hell away from me’ don’t these people understand ? That horse is absolutely tired of being bothered by them.
Well done that horse you tell them fella 🇬🇧😝👍👌👏🙏🏼👊💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥😂🇬🇧
One of the best videos today. Love the snapping. 😂😂❤❤
they should have the signs on BOTH sides as many of the tourists approaching from the other side don't see the one - and the tourist guides should educate their groups - many of these eejits seem to think they can 'control' these mounts by waving at their heads or trying to push them away - love how they get their picture taken with the warning sign as the background! 🤣
if these horses and King's guards were not so well trained, a 1,600 to 1,800 pound agitated military horse moving toward these idiot tourists would make them move away quickly!
Great comment battles146
Not all the foreign tourists can read English.
@shirleyanneyoung955 hi Shirley, most tourists use the translation apps. If they see a sign you would think they'd be curious about what it says😊
@@helencutler-hu1jg Hi, there’s nothing to indicate that it’s a warning sign either. The tourists are focused on one thing as far as I can see and that’s getting their photo taken. I doubt if even the people standing next to the sign even notice it. Maybe if there was something done to make it stand out and show that it’s warning of danger then people would pay more attention to it.
@shirleyanneyoung955 I agree. Maybe if the sign was written in red on a white background, it would stand out more as a warning.
They are such magnificent animals. I love dogs and horses. Cats are cool too!
Hi its me again, the granny from the USA who knows something. I do enjoy your videos of the King's guard the most. You do have the most pleasant voice to listen to. Hope you won't mind me chiming in now and then. Granny Louise
Ik snap niet dat mensen het paard willen aaien, het paard heeft zijn oren in zijn nek liggen,en geeft de waarschuwing....raak mij niet aan,en evengoed doen ze het, onvoorstelbaar.
That poor horse having to put up with the stupidity of some people
Why would anyone want to get so close to a horse that theyve seen try to bite loads of people? Look at his ears !! I think when he got back to the stable that night he won the golden horse shoe award for most bites attempted😂😂❤❤❤❤
I love these bitey horses!
At times, it's as if they are daring the horse to bite. Then they crowd in and wave their hands at him when he is warning them. He isn't biting them he's just nipping.
Looks like the horses have finally had it with these rude touchy feely tourists. Get in his space and get bit. Good for the horse. It's drawing it's own comfort zone.
He’s good with the children bless him ❤
It’s amazing how many people don’t seem to understand that the horse doesn’t want them crowding around. They seem to think it’s a game
Very smart & beautiful horse!
Koliko sam ljuta na te ljude kako bi oni podnijeli da ih 500 stotina puta netko češe po nosu. Croatia ❤
Yes, so irritating! Wouldn’t want themselves touched in same place 500 times!
love this horse
It’s a tough job for horse & guard - standing/sitting in one spot! Leave them be! Take photos from a distance!
WHY do these people feel the need to touch the horse- even when he's trying to bite them??? And why must they even be in the picture? It's the King's Life Guard & his horse you want to remember!
Isn't this horse Ormonde? Just loooooooove him. Pity the guard didn't let go of the reins and he would have definitely bitten these idiots. These tourists think they're horse whisperers. Not!
Omgoodness he/she is fiesty today. And yet people continue to try and pet him /her. I guess they have to kick them before some sense gets in
Yes!😂😂😂😂😂
That was sad. This poor horse may as well be covered in biting flies for how bothered he is.
Smart horse, he knows when enough is enough.
So THIS is Ormonde - l do like him. Glad I found his name in the comments....woukd hate to have continued calling him "three socks nippy". 😊
How much more clear could this magnificent horse be in saying step away???
The King’s Guards & horses: 100; tourists: 0
I love this horse! He’s my spirit animal!😹
People should be ordered to Stay Back from the horses as well as the guards…
I agree, definitely to the other side of the street across the road.
Despite seeing the horse was nippy today the tourists insist on getting their photos and pats in.
That is hilarious that the naughty horse is wanting to bite.
This is Arnie’s protege 😂
You've got to love this biter!
😂😂 At 5:43, WOMAN: “We own horses and I got bit more than my share.” MAN: I wonder why.” 🤣🤣
I think that clever horse should be called “Jaws”
The lady with the striped white sweater was the smartest of all! She backed off…
Ormonde makes it abundantly clear what he thinks of these intrusive tourists and that he is on duty. If only he could tell his horse friends after work and show them how to do it ❤❤❤❤❤❤
