If you gathered every comedic genius throughout history and asked them all to make the funniest thing possible, they could never in a million years come up with something as brilliant as this video.
I mean, if it wasn't for the lovequest, the narcissism, and the eventual loss of sanity, Chris could have been a great outsider artist (Henry Darger or James Hampton come to mind). When he wanted he did far more interesting and creative things than the average early 2010's TH-camr. It's a shame how things went down. He would never have been a skilled artist, his handicaps made him unable to improve his skills or learn new ones (he's always felt as if he's beyond perfection), but he did have some sort of talent.
To be honest, the effort he put into some of the angles and some of the ideas he was trying for show that there's a glimmer of creativity there... I have to hand it to him for actually managing to make the whole video.
I think you do see this really genuine offbeat inventiveness in a lot of his works, myself. A lot of elements of his works are just derivative, but in how those elements fit together to form any given work of his... what person on Earth but him could create Sonichu?
