Honestly the paper on the wall at 2:00 with "The Dimensional Merge is happening now!" written over and over is dark and depressing as fuck, really shows how bad Chris' mental state was by this point in that he was so determined and desperate to escape from reality into another world.
Even if, by some miracle, he actually did manage to escape to another world, it wouldn't change anything in the long run for him. His environment would be different but Chris would still be Chris.
This is going to be a bit long, but please bare with me. What a lot of people fail to understand is that due to narcissistic personality disorder, and whatever mental health condition Chris has that has somehow never been diagnosed(possibly schizophrenia, schizotypal personality disorder, or one of the Cluster B personality disorders), Chris understands & perceives things very differently from people who are normal or people who are just autistic and are, unlike Chris, actually on the high-functioning end of the autism spectrum(like me), and is incapable of seeing that they have certain problems and have delusions. What to someone like me or a non-autistic person would be disgusting, indecent, or inappropriate, is not seen that way by Chris. For example, that drawing Chris made of them fingering their former friend named Megan Schroeder, and uploaded to the internet to prove to trolls that they aren't gay. Chris has a warped sense of right & wrong and is incapable of understanding that certain things are not okay to do. Plus, Chris truly has the mental capacity of a 7-year-old child, combined with the hormones & sexdrive of an adult. So, Chris can't be held to the same standards as a fully functional person. These issues combined with Chris not getting the special needs education they needed during their formative years, Chris not being taught much of importance by their parents and being sheltered by them during their formative years, and Chris's parents allowing for Chris to be "raised" by the media they consumed during their formative years, all of which having happened because of Chris's parents being idiots, and all of the relentless online trolling towards them have resulted in the person we see today. The only hope for Chris is them having consistent psychiatric treatment forced upon them. It's also worth noting that Chris has prosopagnosia(AKA face blindness)(which also was somehow never diagnosed), which means that their ability to recognize faces, including their own face, is impaired, and that Chris, at some point, developed Split Personality Disorder(AKA Dissociative Identity Disorder(DID for short)), as made evident by the "near-year-long bodyswap between Chris and Sonichu". Chris may also have phonagnosia, which is the auditory equivalent of prosopagnosia. Another thing that I feel that I should mention is that certain people with autism, including Chris, have a physical condition called hypotonia, which affects muscle tone, muscle strength, motor skills, and stamina. This, rather than Chris being overweight, is the cause of Chris getting quickly tuckered out by physical activity. It's also worth pointing out that some autists, Chris included, come off as being creeps towards women because they either have weak cognitive empathy(AKA empathic accuracy and theory-of-mind) or completely lack it(in other words, it's hard or impossible for them to metaphorically put themselves in other people's shoes), and they have difficulty with or are incapable of understanding how to get into romantic relationships and how romantic relationships work. Well, about the last part, unfortunately I think he was pretty serious... this is something that isn't mentioned in a lot of documentaries (at least in the ones I watched), but back in July 2016 when all his sex change thing started and he obsessed over becoming a woman, he started listening to binaural frequencies (or something like that) that he believed would make him grow a vagina, according to him, the videos he was listening to claimed it would've taken a few months of listening to these frequencies for it to fully grow, after some weeks of this though, unsurprisingly, he grew impatient, so what did he do to "speed up the process"?? He grabbed a knife and cut his taint open, and then went on facebook to tell everybody how he freed his clitoris and all he had to do was to cut his taint open with a knife, of course, Chris couldn't do anything better than to share a picture of it with everyone and it didn't take long for people to realize that that wasn't a clitoris at all and was a wound (and the picture is pretty disgusting, as someone who's seen it please don't search for it unless you want to vomit from your eyes), and boy did it take some convincing to make him admit it was a wound and to go to a doctor to get it checked... but anyways, he didn't start taking estrogen until a few months later after that incident. Not saying you should respect his pronouns but... just putting this out there, I think he was pretty serious about it, in fact, too much
There are placement homes for people like him who haven't mentally developed past the age of 11 with other underlying issues. I dated a girl who was a resident care supervisor who'd pull 24 hour shifts there and she's come home completely drained of any energy and shortly later quit.

The whole bit with him making a racist joke in the indian restaurant i think showcases the end result of how his parents raised him. Or in reality not really raising him at all. He views everything in the lens of television and video games. Any time he goes out into the real world he always has to equate what he's seeing back to Sonic or some other game or show. Tv and games raised him. When you see him go into the real world he doesn't know how to not think in fantasy terms or what he's seen on a screen. His parents didnt know what to do with him, so they just let games and TV do the parenting for them. I played video games too, but my parents would've never let me have a shrine dedicated to Kingdom Hearts which is what I loved as a kid. A few posters and some figures, but not having my room covered from the floor to the ceiling in it.

This is going to be a bit long, but please bare with me. What a lot of people fail to understand is that due to narcissistic personality disorder, and whatever mental health condition Chris has that has somehow never been diagnosed(possibly schizophrenia, schizotypal personality disorder, or one of the Cluster B personality disorders), Chris understands & perceives things very differently from people who are normal or people who are just autistic and are, unlike Chris, actually on the high-functioning end of the autism spectrum(like me), and is incapable of seeing that they have certain problems and have delusions.
What to someone like me or a non-autistic person would be disgusting, indecent, or inappropriate, is not seen that way by Chris. For example, that drawing Chris made of them fingering their former friend named Megan Schroeder, and uploaded to the internet to prove to trolls that they aren't gay. Chris has a warped sense of right & wrong and is incapable of understanding that certain things are not okay to do. Plus, Chris truly has the mental capacity of a 7-year-old child, combined with the hormones & sexdrive of an adult. So, Chris can't be held to the same standards as a fully functional person.
These issues combined with Chris not getting the special needs education they needed during their formative years, Chris not being taught much of importance by their parents and being sheltered by them during their formative years, and Chris's parents allowing for Chris to be "raised" by the media they consumed during their formative years, all of which having happened because of Chris's parents being idiots, and all of the relentless online trolling towards them have resulted in the person we see today. The only hope for Chris is them having consistent psychiatric treatment forced upon them.
It's also worth noting that Chris has prosopagnosia(AKA face blindness)(which also was somehow never diagnosed), which means that their ability to recognize faces, including their own face, is impaired, and that Chris, at some point, developed Split Personality Disorder(AKA Dissociative Identity Disorder(DID for short)), as made evident by the "near-year-long bodyswap between Chris and Sonichu". Chris may also have phonagnosia, which is the auditory equivalent of prosopagnosia. Another thing that I feel that I should mention is that certain people with autism, including Chris, have a physical condition called hypotonia, which affects muscle tone, muscle strength, motor skills, and stamina. This, rather than Chris being overweight, is the cause of Chris getting quickly tuckered out by physical activity.
It's also worth pointing out that some autists, Chris included, come off as being creeps towards women because they either have weak cognitive empathy(AKA empathic accuracy and theory-of-mind) or completely lack it(in other words, it's hard or impossible for them to metaphorically put themselves in other people's shoes), and they have difficulty with or are incapable of understanding how to get into romantic relationships and how romantic relationships work.
As the TH-cam user Vanreis said, "I think this case should be studied and presented to people who have any deciding power in topics of mental health, and education in general. Autism, horrible upbringing, lonely school life, failure to learn & be taught anything about society, and then, having all that be exacerbated by people on the internet, all of which is insanely well-documented; I don't think there is a better case to show people how fucked up people can become if the entire system fails them.". Also, I don't know where the idea that Chris said they are claiming to be transgender in order to get with lesbians came from, but I haven't seen any evidence that it's true. There is potential evidence that Chris is legitimately trans. In an old email thread between Chris and PandaHalo, Chris said that they had always identified more with girls and that they wondered if they should have been born as a girl. You can find this in the CWCki article about Chris's transgenderism. However, I won't say that this is definitive proof that Chris is trans, because the points that the TH-cam user GiBi made in his video 'A Discussion About Chris Chan's Gender' and the points that the TH-cam user TheZiros made in said vid's comment section have a lot of merit. I personally lean towards Chris actually being trans though.
It should also be noted that Barbara "Barb" Chandler doesn't really have dementia. She was faking it in those videos in order to gain sympathy. She is a master manipulator. Well, about the last part, unfortunately I think he was pretty serious... this is something that isn't mentioned in a lot of documentaries (at least in the ones I watched), but back in July 2016 when all his sex change thing started and he obsessed over becoming a woman, he started listening to binaural frequencies (or something like that) that he believed would make him grow a vagina, according to him, the videos he was listening to claimed it would've taken a few months of listening to these frequencies for it to fully grow, after some weeks of this though, unsurprisingly, he grew impatient, so what did he do to "speed up the process"?? He grabbed a knife and cut his taint open, and then went on facebook to tell everybody how he freed his clitoris and all he had to do was to cut his taint open with a knife, of course, Chris couldn't do anything better than to share a picture of it with everyone and it didn't take long for people to realize that that wasn't a clitoris at all and was a wound (and the picture is pretty disgusting, as someone who's seen it please don't search for it unless you want to vomit from your eyes), and boy did it take some convincing to make him admit it was a wound and to go to a doctor to get it checked... but anyways, he didn't start taking estrogen until a few months later after that incident. The whole bit with him making a racist joke in the indian restaurant i think showcases the end result of how his parents raised him. Or in reality not really raising him at all. He views everything in the lens of television and video games. Any time he goes out into the real world he always has to equate what he's seeing back to Sonic or some other game or show. Tv and games raised him. When you see him go into the real world he doesn't know how to not think in fantasy terms or what he's seen on a screen. His parents didnt know what to do with him, so they just let games and TV do the parenting for them. I played video games too, but my parents would've never let me have a shrine dedicated to Kingdom Hearts which is what I loved as a kid. A few posters and some figures, but not having my room covered from the floor to the ceiling in it.
