at 7:10 why did the raas announcement call out on runaway "27" when the runway lining up is on runway 26
Because the RAAS was not up to date: runway numbering at Yerevan UDYZ changed in July 2024 (AIRAC 2407), runway 09/27 is now 08/26 😉

Question : j'ai vu sur d'autres vidéos que le pilote garde lui-même les mains sur les gaz. Est-ce que chaque compagnie a ses propres procédures ? Et si oui, pourquoi celle-ci plus qu'une autre ? Au passage, merci pour le Mont Ararat et chapeau pour la référence biblique ; c'est très pro ! Meilleurs vœux et bons vols !

Le décollage étant une phase très dynamique et le commandant de bord étant responsable de la décision de continuer ou d'interrompre le décollage avant V1, il positionne sa main sur les manette pour que le temps de réaction suite à sa décision soit le plus court possible. Je ne sais pas si toutes les compagnies fonctionnent de la sorte mais beaucoup utilisent cette technique.

Non dans tous les cas le cdb tient les gaz car c'est lui qui endosse la responsabilité de la décision de l'arrêt ou de la poursuite du décollage en cas de problème

Flaps 1 et Flaps 1+F sont deux configurations différentes pour une même position manette. Flaps 1+F est une configuration rencontrée au décollage, un cran de Slats et un cran de Flaps, tandis que Flaps 1 qui apparaît pendant l'approche ne comporte qu'un seul cran de Slats.

Oh no! You do realise that it's only the re edited Tuesday videos that have the blurred onset on them. This was due to confidentiality with the airline company. The ones coming on Friday's should be fine without censorship in them.
It's not the Airport you don't have to announce your Departure.
