I still can't get over the look of the moon field. The way they have draw distance blurring on the tree totally blew my mind when I was playing this game.
I loved the fact that they included cricket chirps or something in the game at night time. It wasn't annoying, it was actually peaceful. And the chirps end up making a little tune. =D
what most people get wrong abpout this game is thinking that because link went back in time so many times in this game it made an infinate about of split timelines, but the goddess of time didnt make think go back in time , she made time go back itself
Why do so few people understand that the prairie and the mask children are metaphorical? It's symbolic; there's not literally a field inside the moon. If you go back and listen to the stories that Anju's grandmother tells you, and think about why there's a mask child sitting under the tree, wearing Majora's Mask and being left out by the other kids, you'll start to understand what they were getting at with this sequence. That's what I love about Majora's Mask; it's so wonderfully symbolic.
Of course it is. But that's not what I mean. I mean that the moon said consume not eat. Exact quote: I... I shall consume. Consume... consume everything...
This game defines the words; 'evil', 'nightmarish', and 'demonic', Majora's Mask pulled these genres off perfectly, if I saw a sequel or remake to this, my life would be complete.
This game had really good dialogue for its time. I'm not trying to go on a N64 Vs other consoles but both Zeldas on N64 had better dialogue than most ps1 games I know. It's probably because they didn't have actual voice acting or something and only little grunts and sounds coming out from them.
i already have a Wii, and i got Twilight Princess and brawl for it. the Wii has some great releases, so its totally worth the price. specially considering that u can get almost every previous nintendo release (and a few more) on it but yeah that would rule. it would take forever however.
With the face? In the well. Need it to beat the game, so don't sweat about it too much. You'll just stumble upon it as you go. But bring blue potion magic beans and some bombs before you go in the well. Oh, and some nuts. Them Gibdos be picky.
i have the collectors edition for gamecube. i wish i had master quest tho, it was SO much fun when i played it on a rom. beating up Stalfos in the deku tree... epic. buut i dont. i might as well look on CraigsList for one tho.. hmm.
you can, its hell to find it however. if need be ill PM u a link to find it. its the site that i use to get ALL of my roms and ISO's. and is VERY reliable.
I was purposely listening to a song while watching Link on the Moon since I thought it'd look cooler while listening to something. When Link went up to the lonely kid sitting against the tree, the song went, "in the field where I met you." That is coooooooool! ;p
i was looking at ur vid and.. link dissapeared into the moon and... i though "0.o WTF kids with masks playing around a tree in a moon.. did i miss something??"
Giant's Wallet is in the Beach Spider House, next to the Fisherman's hut (need the hookshot, and Captain's hat if you want a Piece of Heart.) As for that sword (I'm guessing the C-Item one), get all the Stray Fairies for the Stone Tower Temple.
You can go through some little trials for each of the children on the moon if you have all the masks in the game. Then if you speak with the kid who wears Majora's Mask he'll give you the Fierce Deity mask, which you can then use in your battle.

5:02 perfect time to do a 'Dont Taze Meh Bro' annotation
The best bit of the best game ever....the moon's surface is so eerie.

Its amazing how they know what links says, when he doesent even talk....at all.
Amazing Quality!
The moon's interior was one of the creepiest things i've ever witnessed.

It was originally on the Nintendo 64, but there's another version on the Gamecube.
@YourTheBlame Lol the man on the moon and the creepy paradise inside
doesn't the moon sound just like outside the castle in mario 64? you can hear the birds and even the waterfall
No... what have you done? it was supposed to be epic! *cries in a corner*
Na I'm fine with it. Well ok then.
Of course it is. But that's not what I mean. I mean that the moon said consume not eat.

Hahaha, it's all happy with delightful music and you think you've beaten the game......until.....the mask awakes!
the inside is 2 miles away from "The Orchard.wmv"
Scarecrow's double time :D

@YourTheBlame the astronauts would have found it already lol

i take it u used P64 emulator? did u use the bult in recorder? i tryed one and i had the same audio problem

ive beaten it a million times, full hearts an all, what part u stuck on?
you can, its hell to find it however. if need be ill PM u a link to find it. its the site that i use to get ALL of my roms and ISO's. and is VERY reliable.

Sorry, but I thought I'd let you know that your sound is messing up...badly. Watch it for yourself. It might just be my computer though...

@YourTheBlame If it had a face like the one from Majora's mask, I would be fuckin' scared to even look into the sky.
no the video is laggy, causing the sound to mess up, and some of the video itself to freeze for a slight second
8:22 WAIT WTF THE INSIDE OF THE MOON HAS A SKY? WTF IS GOING ON HERE?
8:00 Take us to te moon! Take us to the moon! OOOOOOOOOH! Wont you take us to the moon!
