Would this work as a left-side hand grip as well? I have the OM-5 and love everything except how it feels in-hand. Small worry about breaking the base despite having the protection plan. I heard the base has been strengthened but I seen a few reports of them breaking.

Hallöchen. Ich besitze seit vielen Jahren die Ellie Short Variante mit Peak Design Base. Und damit ich mein Display besser positionieren kann habe ich die Öffnung im Metall größer gesägt. 😎
