- Because there was no Power Tour in 2020, Welcome to the Tri-State Round Up. The only Tri-State road trip that goes through 4 states! What better vehicle to take than Karson's 1959 Oldsmobile 98?! Enjoy the beautiful scenery as the seasons change in multiple State Parks and National Forests. Will there be any hiccups along the way? Stay tuned, and find out!

Has a "when I was back in my 20's" vibe... Ahh those carefree days. Guys... enjoy them. Nice ride.. love the Olds. REALLY loved the '58 Fairlane at the end.. yes!
My brother in law had a 59 Oldsmobile 98 back in the early 70's, It had the automatic headlamp dimmer, and the wonder bar radio that also had the switch on the floor to change stations, It of course had all of the other options they came with, I had a black 60 Olds convertible that was lowered a couple inches, had fender skirts on it plus 57 Olds Fiesta spinner caps all of the trim was removed except for the side spear, It had red white and silver interior one of my ''should have kept it cars!''
Hope you guys use Jack stands, couldn't see one, a guy near me got crushed to death, good video stay safe.

@@brokengear2476 You don't carry a jack? what if you get a flat tire? I carry tools too, but I can see how tools and luggage could compete for space on a road trip. Looks like a pretty big trunk though.

I’m liking this one a lot, I’ve got a 59 olds just like that one other than mine being white and gold, planning one doing the LS swap to mine also.

Where did you source the front disc brakes?
@@ThornyHillFarm The front discs are from a 72 C-10 for the rotors, pads, and calipers. Outside of that, I'd have to ask my buddy Joe about it, as I wasn't present for the brake conversion.

Turkey run state park in Indiana is another awesome park I would recommend tons of photo ops
