I bought Neocaridina Shrimp from Amazon

- So I found these on Amazon thought why not let see. So I bought a batch of 20 shrimp. For the price it was awesome. I've never bought shrimp from Amazon and the Seller is SF Aquatics There web site is SFAquaticStore.com They Sell Fish, Shrimp Plants and Aqua scape supplies. Over all I had a great experience with this Company
I saw these the other day and didn't even give the listing a second glance due to Amazon not having the best track record with quality or respectable sellers. The price was also way cheaper than anywhere else, so I assumed it was too good to be true. Thanks for posting this.

Yep I have shrimp in 4 other tanks and as these guy get bigger I will move them to other tanks
Sweet potato inside the tank helps with slime coat that the babies eat , but be careful when you start adding it to your tank it takes the o2 out of the water 2 of my tanks are completely ready I have to remove it from time to time

Great price and they look fantastic too! Bought shrimp several times from Amazon vendors. Always had good luck. Another verdor I've had good luck with is SwimmingCreatures in Fullerton , CA. Cheers! ~Ron

If you don't separate the shrimp they start inter breeding and you will end up with Brown shrimp. Now i have gotten shrimp for $1 and inter breeded them for my cleaning crew in my 7 tanks as you don't see them much in my planted tanks.

@@razinfishes1918I mix mine and I got a few brown but they don’t all make browns. You’ll get more rilis(clear patches mixed with colour). If you’re not trying to select breed to sell them, then mixes are not a problem
@@HMCSrevenge yea I'm not really worried about that. Currently I have them quarantine and letting them get a little bigger and I have 4 different tanks with shrimp in there to divide them up by color if I like
There is a chart om the net that shows all the different ways to make the colors somewhat not all will make wild shrimp some will turn clear. But nut ghost

I order a lot from the Internet ship on shrimp I have blue dream orange Sunkist yellow fire red. Sky blue and red rili. Now they are safe in shipping for up to 3 weeks in winter they do not like the heat

UPDATE: I got all 20 of my shrimpies and they all came in various/ bold beautiful colors! I am very happy with my purchase! 🍀
oooohhh ya i really like blue shrimp, im hoping to get mine breeding :D red and white would be nice to get in the future.
They gotta be quarantined first. 2 reviewers said theirs came with a deadly green fungus (Ellobiopsidae virus), i guess that's something to look out for. "takes 2 weeks to appear" apparently. Looking at the blue velvet listing.

@@razinfishes1918 yea I'm interested in some for sure, definitely we should quarantine to be safe for those of us adding to established tanks, for the ones who weren't so lucky and had something they posted pics/videos and it looks scary.

It depends, my first sets I put in there tanks right away empty with a Cory dora catfish. All shrimp were fine I need to order 4 more sets to early to get if they look good I won't put them in a separate tank just them for a hour

6 tank blue dream, maby 100 ? red rili maybe 50 orange Sunkist 20 plus about at least 20 babies I see yellow. 10 need more fire red 6 tank can't do nothing sky blue 8. I ordered 20 but only 8 came black rose 3 and 3 babies tank just starting to work right

I ordered mine on the 9th of this month.. was supposed to come in on the 13-14th but usps hasn’t received the package yet.
Same seller too, did yours come in late by any chance?
@@MauiNig so I've seen that happen with USPS before sometimes they miss scanning items. But I would send them a message and ask about your order
