I'm so glad I found this I did this for my 2012 dodge journey. Even after I just made a appointment at dodge to get it looked at. Now I won't have to waste loads of money thanks to you!
Thanks man! Note this also worked on Chrysler 300, and other unconnect vehicles ( sometimes the fuse is a 15 amp blue one called “Ignition Switch/ Wireless Module”)
😮 it actually worked thank you so much. My Bluetooth menu would not even open as if it was glitched if anyone else has that happen this works! And it's easy use a flat head screwdriver to pop the fuse box lid if your nails won't work for ya!
Thank you! I’ve been having nothing but problems with this since we got it, would work intermittently, finally stopped working at all just as we got on the road for a road trip. Found this and it worked! Life saver!
I've tried all those ways that you spoke about from different videos and none of them worked ! I'm genuinely glad that I came across this video because it's literally the same radio system that I have and it actually worked, so thank you !
OMG you saved me so much money I had issues with the radio not turning off when the car wasn’t running and no sound was coming out of the radio pulling that fuse along with the radio fuse for 10 second completely fixed the problem. Thank you so much.
Thank you so very much for all of your help!!! I hope everyone sees this video you just saved me so much time and hassle!! Quick and easiest fix I've ever done working on a vehicle myself. None of those tricks in the beginning worked out. But the volume/tune button reset did help me after the fuse trick since my Journey is new to me and my phone has never been connected. Couldn't have fixed it without your help!!
This video is accurate. I tried everything this gentleman said and then I did his method and it worked. Before useing this method my symptoms were the VR button on the steering wheel did nothing, also if you hit the phone icon on the screen it would not work at all, just kept saying it was loading..... it works now using this guys technique, thanks for the video! We'll done....also agree with most comments, the uconnect system is junk and as usual these days the company doesn't stand by their product. Such a shame.
Thanks dude. I knew there was a fuse for this thing but had no idea where it was. Worked like a charm. Interesting to see if the HFM fails you wont be able to access phone or bluetooth menus. Still pulling the fuse was the easiest solution because the battery is in the dang wheel well. WHO DOES THIS.
My dodge journey 2020 is doing the same thing Bluetooth won’t connect to my iPhone, some days it will connect to the phone so I can answer a call , but can’t play music through the radio Bluetooth.
Bluetooth module under dash is the culprit. It can cause your battery to drain over night if you have a weak or dead battery. The module stays in while the car is in sleep mode. Should have been recalled.
Thank you very much I went 3 years without connecting my phone And I followed your instructions and it worked Thanks again definitely giving you a thumbs up buddy
Thank you so much I just got done doing that and I had a problem with connecting last night came out looked at the video and I did exactly what you did. I had a couple different 10 but I tried all the 10 and cut the car off and try it and my Bluetooth connected with no problem. Thank you so much.
DUDE! I tried all the other things as well, nothing worked. I pulled the fuse, put it back in and PRESTO! Connected. 2014 Dodge Journey. How did yo figure that out? Brilliant!😄
I usually just shut the car off. Open the door and shut the door. Make sure my foot is off the brake, and just sit there for about 30 seconds. Then my Bluetooth connects. But if it didn't I do what you do.
I disconnected the 131 fuse and others and my phone app worked again with the radio. The system isn't very good, it gives me connection problems often.
Not only did this work for my bluetooth radio, but my rear a/c controls were glitching out and it solved that problem! Now, I just have to figure out how to get the DVD player back working?
Omg the dealership makes me feel like I’m stupid when I keep telling them The Bluetooth does not connect and I purchased the truck brand new. I shouldn’t have these issue and it is so nice that someone else has the same issues.
Only thing that has worked for my 2015 dodge journey. Turns out mine was missing the fuse all together. Why can't they clearly label their fuses? Now time to try to guess why none of my windows work. Just bought this car.
Anyone have it where it's connected then disconnects randomly and can't connect again until you shut off the vehicle? Sometimes it won't connent at all.
Life saver thank you 😊 Update didn't work 😭 it won't even give me a pop up screen or nothing when I press on the Bluetooth or the phone soft press buttons on the screen I'm so bummed 😞
What's weird is this works but I'm having this issue come up again today and I'm thinking maybe it's a bad fuse piece and it might need to be replaced because in my vehicle it seems to have been looked at before so I wonder if it needs replacement.
Ey it might convert back to doing the same thing. When you start the car just give it a second and drive a bit then hit the Bluetooth button. If that doesn’t work delete the Uconnect off ur phone and delete ur device off the car and reconnect it before driving
I know one thing the shit's getting annoying I can tell you that because I was in my car this evening had my TH-cam playing through the bluetooth got out of the car for all of 5 minutes got back in it would not connect I go to the screen to set up bluetooth and click bluetooth in the menu and it won't even display that screen I hit the phone button and it won't even go into that screen mode it says please wait it won't even allow you to set up pairing
I used this method on my 2016 journey sxt, but, like other comments, the bluetooth would not work and has even disappeared from the options list. Currently, the backup camera doesn't work (picture is either upside down, flickers, or even works), bluetooth/handsfree does not work, and the blend door actuator has an issue (AC only on driver side, no AC on passenger side). Based on all my research, it may come down to replacing the radio entirely or even the fuse box. Anyone else with similar issues?
Thank you so much bro, I bought a 2013 journey and the bluetooth worked following your steps. Good job keep it up !
I'm so glad I found this I did this for my 2012 dodge journey. Even after I just made a appointment at dodge to get it looked at. Now I won't have to waste loads of money thanks to you!
I lost track once he turned the camera where exactly is the fuse box at?
@darrenjones9838 front passager right seat😊
Mine hasn't worked since February and I found your video after searching and trying everything last few months and this worked!! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much I have a 2014 journey and no other video was working. Tried what you did and it worked instantly
Thanks man! Note this also worked on Chrysler 300, and other unconnect vehicles ( sometimes the fuse is a 15 amp blue one called “Ignition Switch/ Wireless Module”)

Thanks dude. My started to do this am and i was oh hell no. I'm not taking u to the STEALERship. Glad i found your video. Easy freaking fix. 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Worked for my Dodge Journey 2012. Thank you very much for your video.
Thanks man, on my dodge journey 2015 the only video could solve the Bluetooth problem over youtube was your video
Thanks dude. I knew there was a fuse for this thing but had no idea where it was. Worked like a charm. Interesting to see if the HFM fails you wont be able to access phone or bluetooth menus. Best Advice I've gotten from You Tube been 2 months with no blue tooth 1 min total time and fixed
My dodge journey 2020 is doing the same thing Bluetooth won’t connect to my iPhone, some days it will connect to the phone so I can answer a call , but can’t play music through the radio Bluetooth.
You just saved me. I kept buying 💿 's.
It worked. Thanks 🙏 Much love from Ohio.
Thank you! This helped me. My mom and I just reset it like this. We have the exact same model. Thank you for sharing!

Brother. Thank you sooo much, after 2 years I finaly made it 👏👏👏👏
DUDE! I tried all the other things as well, nothing worked. I pulled the fuse, put it back in and PRESTO! Connected. 2014 Dodge Journey. How did yo figure that out? Brilliant!😄
The fact that this worked pissed me off because it's such a shitty Bluetooth that I will sit here for a two hour drive, and it won't connect
I tried it this morning. It worked. Thank you .
I usually just shut the car off. Open the door and shut the door. Make sure my foot is off the brake, and just sit there for about 30 seconds. Then my Bluetooth connects. But if it didn't I do what you do.
Thank u so much. I just fixed mine. I woke up in the middle of the night about the blue tooth. Wow
Worked for our 2015 Dodge Journey! Thank you!
Wat tool u use to pull it?
@@db.teezy.needle nose pliers
Thank you I’m going to try this. I have a 2012 dodge journey.
Awesome! Finally got mine working again!!
Thanks
This worked for bluetooth and sd card issues. Thank you Sir!!! 👍👍👍
I’m going to try. Thanks for calling out all these button push myths and the fact that none of these are the same. I will never buy a dodge again
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. The fuse is what I fixed it.
This worked for my 17 gt ty sooo much been having off and on issues with it since i got the vehicle
I disconnected the 131 fuse and others and my phone app worked again with the radio. The system isn't very good, it gives me connection problems often.
Thank you!!!!! This worked like a charm!
Not only did this work for my bluetooth radio, but my rear a/c controls were glitching out and it solved that problem! Now, I just have to figure out how to get the DVD player back working?
Did the connection problem come back ever since? I’m debating if I should get a new HFM unit so I don’t have to keep unplugging fuses once in a while
Omg the dealership makes me feel like I’m stupid when I keep telling them
The Bluetooth does not connect and I purchased the truck brand new. I shouldn’t have these issue and it is so nice that someone else has the same issues.
This worked! I love you man!
Well I stand corrected it work, I pulled the wrong fuse. Thx man!!!
Only thing that has worked for my 2015 dodge journey. Turns out mine was missing the fuse all together. Why can't they clearly label their fuses? Now time to try to guess why none of my windows work. Just bought this car.
Thanks pal. Same as you. Did everything you said prior. Did the fuse this and wha-la. Nice video.
Hey dude!
My problem was ONLY about Bluetooth Media, radio worked fine and I thought that was not my case, but it is!
Thank you, man!
Well... Untill first restart 💀
Thanks man! Works on my journey 2014!
Anyone have it where it's connected then disconnects randomly and can't connect again until you shut off the vehicle? Sometimes it won't connent at all.
thanks bro it work for my 2022 journey
I got the Bluetooth to finally work but now it just gets stuck on Bluetooth pairing process please wait and never loads
Thanks you this helped me. Bluetooth is back up and running
👍 it worked on my Fiat Freemont aswell
I have a 2011 dodge journey. Constant Bluetooth issues. I tried this trick and it didn't seem to do anything. Still works just as bad as before
I can get the fuse to come out so what should I do?
Dude your awesome worked like a charm!!
It reset the HFM but same issue will return after a couple or more restart of your engine.
Where exactly is the fuse box on the passenger side
Most useful person, thanks so much
Worked for me but didn’t fix it. Just locked up again after a few drives. I’m sure it’s the module and I heard it’s hard to get at.
Seems to work so far, thank you
Life saver thank you 😊
Update didn't work 😭 it won't even give me a pop up screen or nothing when I press on the Bluetooth or the phone soft press buttons on the screen I'm so bummed 😞
Eres el puto amo ! Grande viejo 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!! This worked for a 2016 too
Literally god sent, it works!!!!
Will replacing the fuse work??
Works for my fiat freemont 2014 thanks man
Thanks bro! It finally fixes the problem
Omg this worked thank you sooooo much!
It's never the radio it's always the module. If pulling fuse does not work the module needs firmware reflash.
2 options are stealership or ebay.
Thank you very much! That did the trick for me!
What's weird is this works but I'm having this issue come up again today and I'm thinking maybe it's a bad fuse piece and it might need to be replaced because in my vehicle it seems to have been looked at before so I wonder if it needs replacement.
I'm guessing the same, not even this fix worked for me.
Ok this is a one time fix or I just gotta keep pulling the fuse?
I have had connection issues on journey and Dart. But there's an easier fix. Connect to as audio device first. Works everything
I’m at work right now but I just got a 2019 journey and my Bluetooth just started acting up will this work on my model as well
How long does it take to kick in?
It worked! Thanks buddy!
Mine still won’t connect I’ve done it all
I have a 2019 Dodge Journey and I don’t see this fuse box at all.
It’s under the passenger seat where the glove box is I have a 2019 as well
You’re the man!! Thank you!!!!!!!!
Thank you! God bless you
This saved my ass!! Thank you so much!!
Thank you bro ❤ I fixed
Has anyone tried this with a 2014-2018 Cherokee Latitude?
Skip to around 2:45 for instructions
Yup, fuse. Thank you😊
Works thank you so much
Worked for me but every time I turn my car off it disconnects again and again
Yes sir that works my bro thanks
Ey it might convert back to doing the same thing. When you start the car just give it a second and drive a bit then hit the Bluetooth button. If that doesn’t work delete the Uconnect off ur phone and delete ur device off the car and reconnect it before driving
You just got yourself a subscriber, good ish bro!!
My car is doing the same thing, it won't find my phone to connect. I'll try it
Thanks to u.... its awesome. 😊
I have a 2013 ram 1500 tht doesnt connect the bluetooth
I used this method on my 2016 journey sxt, but, like other comments, the bluetooth would not work and has even disappeared from the options list. my dodge journey is doing all of those except the ac did u ever figure anything’s out?
