Just a quick update on your video. Today I lost my sounds on my 2022 Ram 1500 and didn't know what to do until I found your video. I found that the first method worked with power button and the the tune button even though it's a 2015 and old method. Thanks for saving me a trip to the dealer. Great video.
2019 Ram Rebel: CarPlay wouldn’t work no matter what I did. I performed the first method. Screen stayed on but I did get a flicker of the screen. Tried CarPlay again and it worked!!! Thank you so much

Thanks bro!!! I installed a screen protector on my JLUR uconnect screen and it was tweaking out, it keep pressing buttons and wouldn't stopped but rebooting it by your first method fixed it. Thank you! This is a brand new uconnect system and I thought i f'd it up lol
22 Ram 2500 and it was the power button and tune button at the same time method. I'll see how the radio does now but I've had issues since new with it. Dropping the Bluetooth connection to the phone and then playing sirus xm preview. Hopefully this works better now. Thank you for the video. Edit it did not work at the Bluetooth connection issue. I know it's the uconnect as it doesn't happen with the other vehicles I connect my phone with. Including the semi truck with a cheap factory radio. So hopefully the radio getting updated for the rear camera recall will help it. Lol
Wonder if it will help with the climate OFF and will not turn on. I got a jsb from dodge a while back, maybe an update thing. Will try restrictions, install the USB data, disconnect battery reset then last step, new hvac control module😢

I have a 2015 dodge charger se with the 5" screen and about 3 weeks ago my screen got stuck on the dodge logo. It will not do anything else and it will not turn off unless I take out the fuse. Even if the car is completely turned off the screen will not. It killed my battery one morning and at the time I thought I needed a new battery so I got a new one put in probably for nothing but it was the screen not turning off overnight that killed the battery. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
@Gamer4Lyfe Try looking into delamination issues. Many dodge / chrysler LCD screen have delamination issue where the outer layer separates from the inner. After separation, sometime the 2 layers touches each other simulating a touch/tap (false touch). Maybe that is what keep your screen to be on all the time?
Any ideas for a 2015 dodge journey, aside from the fact that I shouldn't have bought it. Navigation is showing two dashes and when you click it the screen is black. Tried the soft reset suggestions you have here and neither do anything. Wondering if it's different on this car for some reason.
Second method didn’t work on my 19 model For 19 Laramie mine only way that worked was shut all power down for 45 seconds then remote start the truck open door without pressing anything hold on the volume button and it boots up the 8.4 system and then start the truck normally and your good found this on Reddit and it saved me after hours of searching ! Hope this helps someone with a truck like mine in a frozen screen. The right corner does not work on a 19 Laramie with 8.4 uconnect

I have a 2017 ram 1500 tradesmen with the smaller screen radio , the radio or music was muted but i would hear the beep boop from the selections i made lol anywhoo I unplugged the battery both terminals and slapped a little of green oxidation off and came in the truck even turned on smoother . Hi I’ve tried this to reset my U-Connect on my Dodge Ram 2500 2014. My hands free Bluetooth connection doesn’t work. It does not listen to any voice commands. When I make a call I can hear the other person, but the other person does not hear me. TH-cam, and Music work but other apps like Facebook are muted. Any ideas what can cause this?

Hi mr diy geek. Our computer skips from one to the next fast. Example. I put it on heat lower legs. It’s started going from legs to face and legs to face only to windshield and back again over and over nonstop. Same with radio. Same with temperature. Started at 80 cause I was cold it kept dropping to 60 then 65 and so on and so on. Wont stay still. In one climate zone or temperature or radio station nothing. No. Stop moving. Can you tell me any ideas. Pls. Ram 2018 1500. 59k miles.
We had to replace the screen. But thanx to wonderful ppl like you and the guy that shows how to change it out. We saved thousands and many many hours It only took 30 min. Thank you for being here for us 😘
My 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee doesn’t have a tuner knob. There’s a tuner and volume on back of steering wheel but it doesn’t reset it, I’ve tried 😢 is there any other way? My screen won’t allow touch but the buttons still function. It’s so weird. Any advice is helpful 🙏🏽

Hi guys! Have an issue with CarPlay, was press power volume and browse enter for 10-14 sec, since it shuts off, let it go then hit power volume once - it will starts and work again. No need to be switched off engine
My uconnect is switching from my bluetooth to different sources (aux, radio and back to aux) all on it's on. Anyone have any idea if this method would fix it? Would really hate to have to take it up to the dealer. I have a 2014 Dodge Durango Citadel

Not just the older vehicles. My 2019 Ram 3500 with 12" Uconnect reset using the ACC and both button push and hold method. I tried the one where I held the index finger one the upper right corner of the screen and it didn't work for me.
@@j.e.8120 I see, I think there is TECHNICIAN AREA within the Uconnect system that you need to go to. If not, you probably need special tool (programming tool) to calibrate the AC blend door.

I tried doing this, 2014 ram still stuck on defrost, replaced actuators, climate control module and the climate knobs under the uconnect...any ideas??

Sounds like a broker digitizer which is a much bigger issue. You should try resetting anyways

Sounds like your touchscreen layer is “delaminating” and it is sensing false touches. As far as i know only dealer can fix or replace.
