Video footage of long-sought Lake Michigan wreck of the Pere Marquette 18

More than a century ago, the Pere Marquette 18 started taking on water while crossing Lake Michigan, and jettisoned its cargo of rail cars into the lake in a desperate attempt to stay afloat. It sank with the loss of more than two dozen lives and the wreck site had eluded searchers for decades - until two Minnesotans found it this summer.

Is there any kind of full view of the disposition of the wreck? I've been fascinated by stories like this one for years. A great find.

These would be quagga mussels, not zebra mussels. Quagga mussels have replaced zebra mussels in Lake Michigan and zebra mussels would not have been present at 500 feet of depth anyway.

Zebra mussel's are always getting the blame for everything.
