I went to Chelsea High School and worked at the local grocery store. Jeff would come in often and he's just another guy getting groceries. People never crowded him and bugged him. He also owns the local theater called the Purple Rose. Nice guy.

I’ve been to Chelsea, it’s not too far from where I live. Beautiful town, nice restaurants and shopping. It’s also where they make Jiffy Cornbread Mix.

I went to a prison boot camp in Chelsea Michigan. It was actually one of the best times of my life. Living in Michigan is like living in Florida in summer and Alaska in winter but if you're a true dirty mitten you love it.

Duck Face Back in 1998 Michigan didn't have legal medical marijuana. Instead they had "get caught with weed and either tell on everyone you know or go to jail" lol So I didn't tell and when they let me out I ran. They finally caught me in San Francisco at Union square Park skateboarding. So just weed charges. But boot camp was really fun for me. I still use the lessons I leaned today and that was 20 years ago.

Yeah....and according to the FBI.....Unfortunately Michigan has an City with the highest Crime rate of the United States....Motherfucking DETROIT! (Rank 1) since the 1960s. Detroit is like New York City in the 1970s (Homicide & Murder rate, Gang war and the Mafia wars between the italians).
Another city with a great deal of crime is FLiNT, Michigan. Rank 7 or other sources say Rank 3. That's a shame to the state of Michigan.

I work in the entertainment business as an actress and singer/songwriter/producer, yet planning to move to Vermont this year. As much as I love NYC and LA, I'd prefer to live in a place that is beautiful and not so chaotic.

To be fair that's maybe 30 minutes from downtown Ann Arbor. Also Conan seems to skip over how many famous people have homes in Montana in these little communities where only really rich/famous people live so they don't have to interact with society. Not that I wouldn't do that if I were filthy rich too, just worth noting.

I thought New York State was bad with towns with strange names. Chelsea is simple. Charlevoix,Mackinaw, Mackinac one is a bridge the other a Island? Escanaba, Sault Ste Marie, Ypsilanti, Petoskey is Native American-and a stone. Try this one Dowagiac. I know it’s Native American. answer: Doe-wah-jack. Yes the G is pronounced as a J. Then you have Pinconning and Sebewaing. Except for the last two mentioned I have actually been to the other cities mentioned. Chelsea I believe is where Jiffy mix was made and I knew Jeff was from there. Although I did not know he was still living there. Stayed in Chelsea in hotel off I-94 . I went to the Michigan vs Rutgers game everything was booked up in Ann Arbor. Drove up to Hell that weekend it was cold 50 degrees. Ypsilanti had a strong automobile history. Sault Ste Marie of course the the soo locks are there cool maritime museum with the bell from the Fitzgerald. Nice Casino also nearby. I’ve been to Mackinaw /city/ island/Big Mac bridge. Dowagiac not far from ND/S Bend .Stoves,furnaces and James Heddon inventor of the artificial fishing lure. Judith Ivey ,Billie Gordon lived there. Chris Taylor “ The Gentle Giant “ They have a nice history museum it’s actually interesting and worth seeing. Four Winds Casino if your into gambling.

No one in the real world cares about your small town bubble, that’s why they legalized guns and don’t do anything about the drug epidemic
